The pie charts below show the comparision of different kinds of energy production in France in two years.
The two pie charts illustrate the difference in
energy
source distribution in France in 1995 and 2005.
Overall
it is clear that
energy
production changed significantly for
petrol
and nuclear
sources
between these two years. In 1995 there were three main
sources
of electricity production namely coal, gas and
petrol
, which were responsible for just shy over 90% of all amount of the produced
energy
.
Therefore
, only 11.3% of the total amount of
energy
was sourced from nuclear and other
sources
On the other hand
,
although
coal, gas and
petrol
remained the main
sources
of
energy
in 2005, their contribution to
energy
production reduced to approximately 80%,
while
nuclear and other
sources
produced two times more in comparison with 1995.
This
difference was achieved by reducing the usage of
petrol
by 10%.
According to
the data, the portion of electricity produced from coal and gas in 2005 increased between half and one per cent compared to 1995.
