Dear Mr. Adams I am a freshman in economics in your department and I am writing to inform you about the incident related to my student identification card. A couple of weeks ago, when I got into the university through the main entrance, the dean of our faculty asked me to show him my student ID but at that time I could not find it and he set a deadline to look for my card by the end of the month. As seen from my situation, I have been experiencing a number of problems,
such
as some trouble using the library and entering the dormitory since
then
.
Besides
, I had difficulty purchasing a monthly ticket for public transportation like tubes and buses because it cost me a fortune without my ID. I sincerely request you to renew my student card
as well as
allow me to catch up with my other group mates in some subjects I missed. I look forward to hearing from you with a positive response to my letter at your earliest convenience. Yours sincerely, Bill Thompsons
