You bought a TV a week ago but when you got home you discovered it did not work properly. You called customer service to report the problem but you have not yet received any help. Write a letter to the company and in your letter: • introduce yourself • explain the problem • and state what action you would like from the company

Dear Manager, I am Jagtheesan Manoharan. I am writing
this
letter in regard to the purchase I made a week ago on Tuesday 22nd of April. I bought a GRE brand
television
with a 65-inch screen for 800$. Your team delivered it to my home on the same day evening and I appreciate your quick, efficient and reliable service.
However
, when I plugged it into the outlet. It was working fine for a few minutes and suddenly the video and audio began to distort. I shut down the
television
and tried to turn it on again. The
television
turned on but the screen remained distorted and the sound was completely absent. I bought
this
as a birthday gift for my father. I am totally disappointed by
this
outcome. I believe that I am still within the return period
along with
an extended warranty coverage. I request you to assess the condition of my
television
and help me to find a new one without any faulty system. I want you to arrange a delivery from my home to your store for my return and
also
deliver a new one without any additional charges. In the future please make sure that these kinds of mistakes don't repeat. I have been a long-term customer for your company and
this
was the first time I came across
this
problem. Thanks for understanding my situation and sending me a new
television
as soon as possible. Thanks, Jag

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
