, throughout the whole period, petrol is taking the upper hand with a fast difference,

the energy produced by water is making the least contribution. There is an evident plateauing in nuclear, sustainable, and hydropower, they all started at less than 5 quadrillion units in 1930, and they are not expected to even double through the century.

, coal shows a greater rate of rise, jumping from slightly over 15 to nearly 30 quadrillion units, natural gases did show a similar trend in growth but somehow it started to plateau after 2015 at over 25. In conclusion, it is apparent that oil was, and will continue to be the major source of power in the USA, because it makes more contributions than other sources collectively.
