The line graph points out the number of shops that dropped out and the sum of new shops that opened between the years 2011 and 2018. As easily seen, both closures and openings were high over the period of time, a downward tendency happened for the openings, parallel to that, closures showed a downfall when looking at only the start and end of the given point. Within one year, there was a rapid decrease which occurred for newly set up businesses from around 8500 to 4000. It moved upward to 6000 in 2014 but quickly declined to 4000 for the next year, and remained unchanged for 2 years. Following that, a slow contraction occurred by 3000 in 2018. In the meantime, closures began with just over 6000 in 2011 and slightly changed to 6000 in 2012. It steadily changed to over 7000 in 2013 and returned back similar to the beginning. There was a quick downfall that happened, resulting in less than 1000 in 2015 and immediately increased back to around 5100. It remained that plateau stability over time .
