I recently came across your article discussing the uniformity of town centres across the country. While I appreciate your observations, I believe there are aspects of this claim that warrant further discussion.
It is an eternal paradox that the resources at our disposal are limited, while we have numerous projects desperately needing these resources. How to allocate resources between motorways and railways is not an exception. From my perspective, society should invest more in public transport systems as this suggests both a caress for the disadvantaged and the determination to protect the environment.
Many countries spend on space exploration to discover new technologies to help in different fields. while I concur that there are a few national issues which require more money to overcome, people are struggling with poverty, health issues and many more.
More and more youngsters in many parts of the world pursue an apprenticeship rather than a tertiary education. Some argue that skipping university and therefore gaining more hands-on experience in work-based training is good, while others believe that attending an academy may be more beneficial thanks to the specialised knowledge learned. In my opinion, there are more disadvantages than advantages to enrolling in an employment-based traineeship.
