Due to the advancement of , technology there are plenty of opportunities available for society. For ,education few people are depending on television and the other section of society feels it is mainly for entertainment. I am aligned with the writer's opinion and agree with the statement. In the following ,section I will give both my opinions.

University students always focus on one specialist subject, but some people think universities should encourage their students to study a range of subjects in addition to their own subject. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

University is a place to allow people to improve their knowledge. Some people think that they can choose one more subject for what they want. In my opinion, I completely agree with this that people can learn more than one subject.

It is argued by some people that private tuition could assists children to perform better in their studies as they work closely with teachers. But it is disagreed by others. From my point of view, there are more benefits due to private classes rather than few disadvantages. I will discuss both in following paragraphs.

I wondered how children deal with these books which make me so sad. A little bit of reading on Samina Mishra led me to a wonderful essay (‘Why we shouldn’t shield children from darkness’) by an award-winning children’s author, Matt de la Peña, who says, “Maybe instead of anxiously trying to protect our children from every little hurt and heartache, our job is to simply support them through such experiences. To talk to them. To hold them.” Because they undergo the same experience as adults, but unlike adults, cannot process them.

The best way to help children to learn to cooperate is through playing team sports at school. To what extent do you agree and disagree?

admittedly, I agree with those who claim that playing team sports, such as basketball and football, can make students understand the importance of work closerly together with each other to win a game. However, for pupils who are not good at physical movements or dislike sports, the methods will be not only less efficient for them. If other children do not want to team up with them, they might feel isolated and excluded, which will hurt their feelings.

Reading is a common way for people to increase their knowledge capacity. Some people think that there is a positive correlation between the number of books they have read and the skills of learning language and imagination, compare with people who enjoy more on watching TV. Personally, I think their view is over generalized, the content from TV series can also help people to gain more knowledge as well.

Opponents of government control respond that students' psychological health is in fact the most damaging of the idea. They point out that if the government makes students studying designated subjects compulsory, it might hurt students' mental health. As a result, some students are suffering from psychological illnesses, such as depressive disorder. Some even have suicide tendencies which might lead to irreparable consequences. According to statistics from the Education Bureau of Anhui Province, there are one to two university students commit suicide on the daily basis in Anhui Province alone.
