Firstly, plants are the main source of oxygen supply, through the process of photosynthesis. Oxygen is essential for breathing, without that human and animals cannot survive. Moreover, these plants consume and absorb carbon dioxide gas from the atmosphere to purify the nature. The destruction of forests results in the increase of carbon dioxide in the earth’s atmosphere, by this way the overall temperature of the planet increases and causes global warming which is a serious threat to our planet, developing natural calamities, including droughts and floods and melting of ice caps in the South Pole region.
