Public celebrations (national days, festivals) are held in many countries. Some people say that these celebrations are a waste of money and we should spend money on more important things. Do you agree or disagree?

The Celebration is an integral part of person's life, Such as a birthday celebration, a Wedding ceremony, an independent day and so on. That, may give a chance to people to break their day to day routine and relaxed their mind and body. However, some people think that it is a waste of money to spend on such celebration instead of that person should utilize that money for some other essential services. Although, I disagree with the given phenomenon and assert the possible reasons furthermore in an essay.
