A lot of places in the world rely on tourism as a main source of income. Unfortunately, tourism can also be a source of problems if it is not managed correctly. Describe the advantages and disadvantages of tourism in the modern world. Do you think that benefits of tourism outweight its drawbacks?

Tourism is a major revenue-generating business in today's world as more and more individuals and families prefer to spend their holidays away from their busy urban life. Although there are certain disadvantages of tourism, its wonderful advantages such as local economic development, job creation and so on eclipse the problems caused by it.

Studies suggest that the rise in the consumption of junk foods is the major cause of obesity. Some people argue that this problem can be tackled to a great extent by increasing the price of food items. Do you agree or disagree?

It is thought by many that the rising cause of obesity is due to eating fast food but others think that increasing fatness problems can be resolved by changing the actual price of the food items. In my opinion, I agree with the idea of inflating the cost of such commodities to deal with corpulence and the supporting points will be discussed in the subsequent paragraphs.

The best thing that we can give to our future generations is a clean and green earth. It is argued that predominant environmental issue that we are currently having is the endangerment of few plants and animal species. To Begin with, Tourists leave behind the traces of their marks. As, they explore newer places and learn about its cultural heritages, the chances are that, religious beliefs get impacted. Locals do not feel pleased about this change. For instance, in India, when foreigners visit the Sikh Temples, they don't cover their head very often, which is a mandatory ritual to follow. As a result, few local children tend to mock the same. Nevertheless, many irresponsible tourists have not been very cautious about the cleanliness of those places, they roam around. They do spread the garbage sometimes, out of their ignorance.

Both of the schools of thought hold valid arguments which will be examined in this essay before drawing a personal opinion.

In today’s world the number of traffic accidents is constantly rising as well as the number of injuries and deaths they cause. Some individuals opine that the establishment of a close-knit affiliation among different countries throughout the world can address the contemporary universal problems. I do agree with this notion, and collaboration and communication among nations are the key elements to achieve the aforementioned target.

In order to study at university, students are required to pay expensive tuition fees. Not all students can afford them so some people think that University education should be free for everyone. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Several students forego university education as the tuition fees are very expensive. A section of the society believes that university education should be funded by students, while a vast majority believe education should be free for everyone. In my opinion, tertiary education should be free as it provides several benefits, both to students as well as the society.

There are some arguments about how to reduce traffic jam. Some people propose that new and wider roads should be built, others believe that developing systems of public transportation such as train or subway lines is a more effective solution. Personally, I am inclined to the latter view.
