The current trend in education is to move away from traditional exams and instead have continuous assessment over the school year. What do you think of this trend ?

As the times pass, many things change in the sphere of life. Similarly, there have been changes in the education system as well. On big change is that these days instead of having bi-yearly exams, students are assessed throughout the year via assignments, tests, projects etc. I think that it is a positive change.

Some people believe that if people are allowed to work after the age of 60, it would cause problems for younger people. Do you agree or disagree?

It is undeniably true that, people must work to earn for their livelihood. Some people think that it would be troublesome for the youngsters to find jobs, if people aged 60 years and above, are allowed to continue working. I completely agree with this point of view and following are the reasons to believe so.

In some countries an increasing number of people are suffering from health problems as a result of eating too much fast food. It is therefore necessary for governments to impose a higher tax on this kind of food. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is a fact that our foodstuff greatly affects our well-being. This is the reason, some people believe that there should be a tax applied on junk food by the governments. This essay will discuss why I strongly agree with this stance because it is accumulating in our population and also affecting the fitness of our school going children.

Education acts a fundamental to the progress of a country, a community or an individual. Leisure time is very important for kids to relax themselves after hours of study. Many parents suggest that leisure activities should always be educational. This might have some advantages, but I believe that children must be allowed to choose their own recreational activities.

It is too expensive to look after and repair old buildings. This money should be spent on building modern buildings instead. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Some people believe that, instead of renovating the old buildings, we can invest the same money to build modern ones. I strongly agree with this statement. In my Opinion, I believe, rather than spending too much on the old for repair and to look after it, we can construct a new building which will last for the another decade of years.

Purchase is a favourite topic since the inception of the business. It is believed by many that it is subjective to one’s age rather than anything else. I completely agree with this notion and this essay will demonstrate the reasons for the same.

The advancement of technology has developed the way of living, such as technology is smart phones. However, a few youth claims that this device has brought many advantages to living. From my point of view, it has more drawbacks than merits. This essay will discuss how this brings more demerits than benefits.

In recent times, parents are more conscious about the development of their adolescents. They opine that the free time activities of the pupils must be inclined to their academics rather than wasting their time in recreational activity. I partially disagree with the above notion and supporting arguments are discussed in the following paragraphs.

Professionalism is the most important character trait in today's world. Athletes in sports world, earn a lot more than any other profession. Some people find it fair while others argue about it. I tend to agree with the former as it is the hard work of one person that helps him attain heights and Also, how he uses the money he earned.

The most controversial topic related to parenting is that some children are not given any encouragement to perform well in the school, whereas some are put under too much pressure from their parents. Both of these situations can impact a child negatively. I think that it is very important for parents to balance out their inputs.

Although it is believed that throughout education, plenty of time is devoted to examining facts and figures, rather than doing any practical skill. I agree with this notion that schools and universities tend to teach more theory instead of providing any practical expertise. If these institutions focus more on gaining knowledge by doing practical, it could lead to students’ sharp mental ability and learning skills.

Nowadays, it is true that more and more people have chosen to pursue academic studies, instead of following vocational training courses. . Although some believe that studying in the university is the only way to be successful, I totally agree that the majority should still be encouraged to become a qualified electrician or plumber in the future.

Even though, currently, people are increasingly getting financially richer, it does not guarantee to bring more happiness or everlasting joy. In this essay, I will discuss the reasons for that and the measures that can be adopted to increase the cheerfulness in their lives.

With the increased use of social media in the recent years, many people are becoming more concerned about the adverse effect, the networking media has on the individuals and the society. Although there are countless benefits of using social media, like Facebook and Instagram, in my opinion, uncontrolled and excessive use of such media has its toll on both the individuals and the society.

In this modern world, learning methods are debatable. It has been argued by many that pupils ought to use only computers or the internet to learn how to read, whereas others consider, children should follow only books and handouts. In my opinion, I believe that a printed version of any learning material is appropriate for a young child to start with reading owing to its benefits.

Education acts as a fundamental to the progress of a nation, community and an individual. The subjects involved express the trend of job opportunities in the field to some extent. However, I believe that every subject is equally important. Hence, the funding should be well distributed and not just focussed on science.

Nowadays, with the dramatic changes of the technologies, kids are spending long period watching television. While some people claim that televisions would not replace the book as the best way for education, others argue it will. I totally agree that books are considered the main source of education for children. This essay will discuss why books are important for education and provide a conclusion with my opinion.
