1. Students should pay the full cost of their own university studies, rather than having free education provided by the state. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

In the modern world, although many people are willing to pay for their studies in order to pay taxes and make the society better, others feel that the government should provide the citizens with free education, as many families cannot afford the high cost for the study. After pondering this phenomenon, I believe that the applicants who come from poor families should receive a grant for their studies.

Most people think that the truth should be objective rather than subjective when it comes to the news. Do you think all news is true? What is the function of a newspaper?

It has been said by many news ought to be factual instead of based on any feelings or opinions. Although I believe, all the news is not true; the main purpose of a newspaper is to update people with the facts and unfold reality.

To be labelled a ‘Work of Art’, a painting, sculpture or other art form should display certain qualities that are unique. However, over the past century there has been a decline in the quality of prize-winning artwork and it is now possible for quite ordinary pieces of art to be labelled ‘masterpieces ’ while true work of art pass unnoticed. Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, the taste of artworks has been declining among people, that they try to consider an ordinary art as a masterpiece. Although, this is factual, but the real works or the real masterpieces are unnoticed and unrecognised. I completely agree with this viewpoint because the paintings or sculptures of the past had a uniqueness, which is completely lacking in the present days.

Nowadays, there is a trend that media reports focus on problems and emergencies rather than positive development. Some people think it is harmful to individuals and to society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

News articles are one of the most useful sources for people to absorb information and gain knowledge. Yet in recent days, online and paper reports are flooded with controversial news about events in need of immediate solutions rather than other optimistic ones. Therefore, many people hold that this trend has a negative impact individually and consecutively. Accordingly, I strongly agree with their opinion for the following reasons.

Many companies sponsor sports as a way of advertising themselves. Some people think that it is good thing, while others think that it has disadvantages. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

It has been noticed, that games are getting encouraged by several organizations, although people have many concerns about it. It is as clear as the sky, that businessmen who partake into it, always get huge publicity of their brands, however, it persuades feasibility of match-fixing, which could be untoward repercussion. In my perspective, the government ought to raise the funds and facilities of players, so that, no such requirements will be occurred.

Big sporting events are shown on television like Olympic and world cup , some people say that this would encourage adult to exercise. Others say that other ways we can encourage exercises. What do you think?

Sports have played a very important role in the lives of the human beings, since time immemorial. They have served as platforms for people to come together and flex their muscles. With the technological advancements, we now have the comfort of watching large sports events on our televisions. While some believe that this can encourage physical activity, others are of the opinion that there are better alternatives to motivate exercise. I strongly believe that there are other better methods than watching TV to induce people to workout and this essay will support my opinion with relevant evidences.

In some countries, the difference in age between parents and children is greater than in the past. Do you think the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

In the modern world, although many people are willing to reduce the maturity difference between parents and little people, others feel that this trend is a benefit for the development of the young ones, because they can live in a rich life. In this reason, they may get a better condition and opportunity in many fields of life, such as social life, education and business. Personally, I believe that this tendency should not be reduced by the authorities.

Children nowadays spend a great deal of time watching television. However, television cannot replace the book as a learning tool, which is why children are less well‐educated today. To what extent do you agree with this statement?

Indeed, Adolescents' development is an enormous concern, amid of TV's addiction. This box provides, a variety of informative channels, which help the viewers in pictorial learning, that imprints vividly, in the memory, as compared to the theories, however, producers modified the scripts of a true story, which forge wrong information in juveniles' innocent minds. I agree to some degree, that an idiot box cannot be an alternative of a library, which stores diverse collection.

In the past, museums stored information about culture and history. However, nowadays this information can be found on the internet and, therefore, there is no need for museums. Do you agree or disagree with this view?

In recent years, museums and traditional houses have been losing their top position in the list of must-visit places. This might be because museums have to share their once exclusive right to store cultural and historical information with the Internet. However, I strongly disagree with the assumption that this situation would eventually lead to the disappearance of museums for the financial and aesthetic values they bring to the local.

Some people think that family has the most important influence on children’s development, while others believe that factors such as TV, friends, music and books have a more significant impact. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Although the family is thought by some to be a pivotal factor in rearing the children, others claim that TV, friends, music, and even book are the integral parts of upbringing. In my opinion, families play a crucial role, having said this, overlooking the massive impact of other items is nothing but idiocy.

These days, modern people are willing to explore new places, learn about other cultures and travel around the world. In this regard, advanced technologies can provide the people with information about the nations or places through the internet, leading to gain some information about their culture, social life and art. However, some people believe that individuals should visit the countries in order to learn about their lifestyle. Personally, I believe that travellers should visit the new places, as they cannot receive enough dates though the net.

Even though the capacity of a single nation or a person is limited to help every corner in the world. I do not agree with the idea that we should focus on ourselves.

Priorities in today's world, are certainly changing in which sports and entertainment personalities are paid higher than persons who contribute to the society in a greater way particularly doctors, nurses and teachers. I strongly disagree with this changing trend, the reasons which I would be discussing in this essay.

The researchers and the doctors play a vital role in the society. Therefore, it is always debatable that whose role is more pivotal in the community. I personally think that both are important for us and have their own benefits which can't be ignored. This essay will discuss the same scenario using the examples of Oxford University research and Time Magazine survey to demonstrate the points and support the claims.

While some people believe that punishment is helpful in improving the performance of children in schools, others disagree and think that students perform well when they are rewarded for their work. In this essay, I will discuss both of these views and explain my support for the latter view.

In the modern world, although many school pupils are all concentrating on the subject in order to take high marks, others feel that focusing on particular subjects which they good at or they find the most interesting is beneficial, as they can use their knowledge in the future. Personally, I believe that students should focus on the certain subjects, as they can develop these spheres in the future.

These days, modern people are willing to keep themselves fit. Although many individuals believe that the authorities should make the laws relating to nutrition, other feel that each person should be responsible for personal health condition. Personally, in my opinion, the state should subsidise the healthy nourishment manufacturers, and individuals should be responsible for their health.

People have a difference of opinion about the development of technology, where some believe that with this invention public has become less socialized with others. Indeed, I disagree with the viewpoint because the technological invention has increased the bonding among people.

Many criminals commit further crime as soon as they are released from prison. What do you think are the causes of this? What possible solutions can you suggest?

It is quite common for offenders to commit more crimes after they were released from detention centres. There are numerous reasons for this behaviour such as rejections from the society and lack of skills. Yet, by proper reintroduction and training programs this trend can be mitigated.

Some people said that with the help of parenting and child development courses parents can improve the life of children. To what extent do you agree?

Improving children's lives is the primary goal of every parent. Especially in this competitive world, parents want to make their children capable to compete in the global market. It is commonly believed that, parenting and child development lessons can be beneficial to make children's lives better. I too totally agree with this view and the reasons of my inclination are explained in trailed paragraphs.
