Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is best to try and improve such situations. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Some believe that it’s important to be accepting negative circumstances when they occur, whereas others emphasize it’s better to try to seek solutions in such situations. This essay discusses both perspectives and why I believe that the arguments for seeking solutions are stronger.

People think a law should exist so that young people under 18 cannot be out after the midnight. Discuss both the views and give your opinion.

Although there is a section of the society asking for a governing rule, that adolescents should not get out of their homes after 12AM, the other section believes that there will be a negative impact on the young minds if they are confined indoors. However, I believe that, there should be a free hand given to the youngsters, on when to roam around with right virtue.

Many people believe that social networking sites (such as Facebook) have had a huge negative impact on both individual and societies. To what extent do you agree?

Social networking sites, for instance Facebook, are thought by some to have had a detrimental impact on individual people as well as society and local communities. However, while I believe that such sites are mainly beneficial to the individual, I agree that they are hampering and damaging the local groups.

Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Developed countries have been helped sub developed countries giving money, actually it is not a solution for the problem of lack of money. However rich countries should provide to them different kind of helping for poorer countries instead of financial help. This essay agrees with the statement, because poor countries will be better if they received help about education and health.

The number of overweight children in developed countries is increasing. Some people think this is due to problems such as the growing number of fast food outlets. Others believe that parents are to blame for not looking after their children's health. To what extent do you agree with these views?

It has been argued by many that the obesity in kids is increasing in many developed countries due to increased consumption of fast food, while others believe that it's due to careless attitudes of the parents towards their kid's health. In my opinion, I think that the both schools of thoughts are valid, as the junk food outlets and the carefree behaviour of the guardians are responsible for this trend.

Some people think that the increasing use of computers and mobile phones in communication has had negative effects on young people's reading and writing skills. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It has been argued by many that the frequent use of the computers and the mobile phones has an adverse effect on the user's ability to read and write. In my opinion, I tend to disagree with this, as it not only enhances the vocabulary of a child but also improves the typing speed.

Some countries are struggling with increases in crime rates. Some believe that having more police on the streets is best way to reduce and combat crime. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It has been argued by many that the crime rate has increased in many parts of the world and the best way to control is to enhance the police on the roads. In my opinion, I agree with this as the policemen will be very effective in this, but the creation of awareness in the masses will also help in this struggle.

It is believed, a few people said that parents can motivate the kids to utilize their leisure time effectively. One way is to participate in team based activities and another way is to indulge their minds in self-assessment. In my opinion, group tasks play a vital role to teach them various aspects of life, such as team-work, equality and loyalty.

Others, however, argue that the circumstances of an individual crime, and the motivation for committing it, should always be taken into account when deciding on the punishment. It is true that the crime rate is increasing nowadays therefore, some people think that fixed punishments should be given for specific crimes. On the other hand others believe that there are certain circumstances behind the individuals that led them to commit such crimes and it is necessary that their situations should be considered before penalizing them. In my opinion, a fair and thorough investigation of criminal cases should be conducted before making judgements so that the innocents will not get punished.

In recent days, the populace has shifted to other nations for their jobs. Some people opine that it is hard for children to live there, while others believe that it is fine for them to move. Whilst a discussion of both these views is worthwhile, I am a supporter of the latter view.

Nowadays, a lot of us can see the reality, developed countries have less beggars and thieves whereas developing or underdeveloped countries have a bunch of them. This indicates that higher GDP, also called as economic growth, is the ultimate solution towards the reduction of poverty and helping the underprivileged people to come at par with the normal society. However, in the process of increasing the economic output the environment is destroyed as well. I believe that selecting the route to enhance the economic expansion is necessary as environmental problems can be solved in the course of pursuing economic enlargement.

In this modern era, it is often seen that common people who are the fans of popular celebrities try to follow them when they watch these famous personalities on TV or in the newspaper and magazines. There are various reasons behind this approach. In my opinion, I believe that it is a good idea, but there are some negatives as well that cannot be overlooked.
