In recent years children have been given more freedom than in the past. Do you think this is a positive or a negative development?

It is often argued that, in some countries of the globe, children nowadays do not have to shoulder responsibilities which their counterparts in previous generations had to bear. It is debated whether it has led to a good or adverse outcome in the children and society at large. In my opinion, this decreased responsibility for children has more merits than perils and over the course of the essay, I will try to give reasons for my opinion.

In recent years, digitization has become an integral part of our life, and it has impacted almost every aspect of our life including our reading habits. While an increasing number of people prefer to read online news, it has been argued that newspapers will remain the main source of news and information. I do not agree with this view. In my opinion, reading newspapers is a force of habit and in the future people will move to digital news.

Music, either vocal or instrumental, is an art widely present in several peoples across the world. Thanks to this, part of society argues that unique rhythms and lyrics can influence citizens who have diverse backgrounds and are part of distinct generations to become closer. From my perspective, the before mentioned notion is completely correct, and the following paragraphs explain the two fundamental reasons why music connects people.

Certain people believe that incorporating more physical education classes in the school schedule is key in dealing with this issue. I completely agree the above statement because this can help grow interest in exercising and act as a long-term approach.

Some people insist / opine that the school curriculum should give more importance to academic subjects like history or physics, while others argue that the emphasis should be on imparting practical skills. In my opinion, subjects such as science, mathematics and history prepare children for a brighter future and hence they should be given more importance.

There are several threats to living in our environment. This has led to some individuals to say that increasing the price of fuel for cars and other vehicles like trucks or buses, is the most effective method to solve many of the environmental problems. I completely agree with this view. The reasons for my opinion will be discussed below.

It is believed by some individuals that, we should focus on discovering options to live with global climate change rather than trying to prevent it. I, partially, second with this viewpoint because media channels focus on both sides which bring a positive impact to individuals as well as the community.

In this day and age, it is irrefutable to say that education plays a pivotal in every student's career by building a personality, improving knowledge and skills. To a certain extent, I agree that university studies helps graduates get better jobs. However, I also believe that there are other variety of benefits of college education for both students and society.

It is indisputable that there are some people who were born with gifted abilities. While some people argue that any youngster can be educated to be a successful athlete or musician, others believe that those people are amazing as they were born. In my opinion, I totally agree that anybody can succeed if they keep learning and practicing regularly.

There is a plethora of various cultures and nationalities from all over the world. Critics argue that grouping some of them together will boost the country’s development. Although there are two sides to this argument, from my own perspective, there are several reasons to why this suggestion might be effective, which will be discussed in this essay as well as limitations.

A few parents believe that children should own a mobile handset while others have a different point of view. The use of mobile phones by minors have been associated with major academic distractions, lack of family time and other vices, the only benefit a child derives from owning a handset is easily accessible. Hence, I disagree that children be given phones.
