In companies’ promotions to high positions should be given to employees inside the company, not to someone from outside or new hiring. Do you agree or disagree?

It

has always been
a debatable issue, whether promotions should be offered to in-house staffs or to hire a new
employee
. I agree

the former opinion
of insider promotion and my inclination is justified in the following paragraphs. Out of all the arguments, the strongest one to prove my point is internal employees are familiar with the company’s working environment. In fact, these workers are well aware of working structure and can easily make fruitful decisions for the management. A good example for
this
is, if an
employee
is allotted a task to present annual sales report across the company,
then
this
worker is already aware of whom he or she should reach out to accumulate all the valuable information and present these details in a report which will be helpful for the leadership to take quick decisions. By
this
, I meant that internal staffs who have deep insights of their organizations and work without their personal growth should be considered for promotions.
Additionally
, in-house workers are loyal towards their firm.
This
quality definitely adds up to the vertical growth of the company.
Hence
, employees within the
organization
must be given exposure and given a chance to uplift their career level by promoting them to the
next
level.
However
, I would not overlook the other side too. New hires come with innovative ideas which helps the
organization
to accomplish their goals in

of time. But
then
, when it comes to
organization
working structure, even the talented

the new workplace which could eventually demoralize themselves and lose confidence.
Therefore
, in
such
circumstances, it is better to train old employees with demanding skills which could keep them updated and in turn beneficial for the
organization
instead
of recruiting

. To conclude my opinion, existing employees must be considered for promotions against new recruitments. Taking new knowledge and skills in consideration, training existing

with the demanding skills to keep them updated in the competitive market is more logically acceptable.
