Most employers do job interviews before offering a position to a person. Do you think this is the best way to do it, or are there better alternatives? What is the best method of choosing employees in your opinion?

Selecting ideal candidates for any position is not an easy task as a company’s efficiency & prosperity mostly depend on the performance of its employees. Undoubtedly,
interview
is the most effective & widely used method so far because of achieving higher accuracy in the selection process. From my point of view,
interview
is the best way for finding out the best candidates, though there are still some other used techniques
such
as comprehensive writing test, data collection, health screening, practical skills testing and so on.
First
of all, there are some reasons why I support, interviewing as the best & most amazing process. It is the greatest approach of saving time & money. The company doesn’t need to arrange or hire a big exam hall for
this
process & spending maximum 10-15 minutes is enough for the employers for justifying the hidden talent of a
candidate
.
Furthermore
, for some specific jobs, candidates speaking & convincing power is highly required.
For example
: a company would like to recruit a marketing executive. In
this
case, if a
candidate
doesn’t know how to deal with the customers even in the field, he will not be able to bring success for the company & research says,
interview
is the most acknowledged technique for selecting
such
type of employees.
On the other hand
, in
this
21st century, I will not recommend
interview
to implement for all kinds of job.
Besides
interview
Suggestion
interviewing
, the authority should use other methods as mentioned above.
For instance
, for the post of computer operator, a
candidate
must have good command of computer systems where his speaking skill doesn’t make a big matter.
This
is undeniable that some candidates can’t express their actual talents owing to shyness.
Thus
, there should be other techniques for choosing workers.
For instance
:
Accept space
:
in the military, a
candidate
commonly face three steps exam, which is written test>medical test>
interview
. To conclude, after all the discussions, I would like to suggest the authority, not to rely completely on interviewing techniques. The suggested model can be: Comprehensive written test> practice exam/ demonstration
(
Accept space
(
for skilful position) >
interview
(marketing and customer dealing position).
Finally
,
i
refers to the speaker or writer
I
expect the authority will think of it as soon as possible & draw a new integrated system where all the candidates will get equal opportunities.

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 250 words in writing task 2. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long essay will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 260 to 290 words in writing task 2. This will ensure a concise essay and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 40 minutes to write the essay and you need around 10 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long essay in 30 minutes.
