Many crimes are often related to the consumption of alcohol. Some people think that the best way to reduce crime rate is to ban alcohol. Do you think this is an effective measure against crime? What other solutions can you suggest?

There are many offences that result from drinking
alcohol
. Some say that the best solution to decrease the
crime
rate
is to make
alcohol
illegal.
Although
,
this
is an effective step to reduce the
crime
rate
but other measures like raising the awareness of how
alcohol
causes
crimes
is
also
equally impactful.

crime
rate
, putting a ban on
alcohol
is a good step as illegal things are not easily available.
Therefore
, it will result in less drinking by
people
and ultimately, fewer
crimes
.
For example
, in ,Indonesia the government made the consumption of

crime
rate

this
ban, resulted in a 20% reduction in offences related to drinking

crime

people

alcohol
on them, on their loved ones and on society. When
people
know the side effects of something they avoid doing those things.
For instance
, in a recent article in The Tribune newspaper, 10% of
people
who attend classes on the
alcohol

which leads to fewer offences. In conclusion,
although
banning
alcohol

crime
rate

also
helpful.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
