we encountered. Since she is lactose intolerant we specifically requested what we were told was a dairy-free dessert. After confirming with our waiter that the mango sorbet did in fact not contain milk, since by looking at the menu it was not clear, she proceeded to enjoy her ice cream.
However
, less than an hour later when we arrived at home my sister experienced a terrible stomachache, as well as considerable bloating. We called the doctor for a home consultation and she was informed that her sickness was due to ingesting dairy. Given she is very careful with all her meals and didn't eat anything out of the ordinary that day, we are certain that what has caused the reaction was the sorbet she had at your restaurant. On behalf of my, sister I'd like to request a full refund of her meal for the damages caused to her health.

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
