You are a member of an organisation which meets regularly at a particular restaurant. The most recent meal you had there was not satisfactory. Write a letter to the manager of the restaurant. In your letter explain why you are writing describe what went wrong with the meal and service suggest what the manager should do to ensure that you and your group return to the restaurant
Dear John,
I am a member of the Harvard Business Club. As you may know, we meet every other Thursday at your Bulleton restaurant. I am writing to express my unsatisfactory with the service there
last
Thursday.
Because of our set meeting schedule, our reservation was automatically made by your manager normally. However
, it was very crowded last
Thursday, when our group of 15 people arrived on time, we were told there was no reservation. And William who is your new manager told us we had to wait in line. It was an hour-long wait. To save time, we placed orders while
waiting but later were told the dishes were cooked after we were seated. What's more, the steak plate was cold and the quality was below par.
We were all quite disappointed with our experience and I am writing on behalf of our Club to suggest you appoint a designated manager to host us from now on, make sure our reservation is in place and oversee the quality of the food. We have always liked your restaurant and hope you can maintain the high standard.
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing back from you.
Best regards,
