Last week you were on a flight to London. Unfortunately, when you got off the plane, you left a bag there. You did not remember about the bag until you got to your hotel. Write a letter to the airline. In your letter explain what has happened describe the bag and its contents say what you would like them to do about this problem You should write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows: Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to inform you that
last
week I along with
my family was on a flight to London via your airlines. However
, Unfortunately, When we left the plane we left my bag
as well.
I was with my husband and two children on the flight and suddenly while
we were close to the destination my three-year-old child felt sick and I gave all my attention to him. In the meantime, For
this
reason, We lost focus and therefore
left my bag
at the airline.
It is a small black bag
with grey colour lace. It contains three small pockets and one big pocket. Most importantly, The bag
has some jewellery and my younger babies' medical test reports and medicines list.
I was hoping you could carry the backpack on your next flight to Paris this
week, I will collect the bag
myself. If that is
not possible, I will travel to London next month for the bag
. In the meantime, Requesting you keep the bag
safe till this
time.
I am really wishing for your unconditional help in this
regard.
With Regards,

The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
