The graph above illustrates the number of people in two overcrowded countries-

and India- over the period of 50 years (from 2000 to 2050).

, there are two different trends in terms of population growth in both places.
China
initially
had more residents than India, but the figure becomes stagnated and

it will have a downward tendency in the near future. Opposite to its counterparts, India started having fewer citizens but it will able to equalize and soon will surpass

. In 2000, the quantity of Chinese was approximately 1250

and
then
continue growing and will reach its peak by 2030 at around 1450

, it will have a descending trajectory and will be at 1400

in 2050.
In contrast

China
, India only had 1000
