You recenly received a letter from your bank that should have contain a new credit card. Unfortunately, the card was not in the letter. Write a letter to your bank manager. In your letter: -Explain what has happened. -Suggest the card could be cancelled for security reasons. -Ask when the new credit card can be sent to you.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing with regard to my missing new credit card.
My name is Maria Do, a regular customer at your bank with account number XYZ111. I came to your branch
last
Monday to change my old credit card to a chip-attached one. The teller told me that the new one would be sent out within three working days. I received the letter from your bank yesterday with all the relevant papers but the card.
The envelope was sealed perfectly, so I guess that the staff forgot to put it into the envelope. Though there have been so many scams recently, perhaps I, therefore
, request you to invalidate it immediately and issue me another one.
Because I will have to use it for my house mortgage next week, I wonder whether I could receive it before then
. If delivery takes time, I can go to your branch and get it myself.
I look forward to your prompt response.
Yours faithfully,
Maria DoSubmitted by mariatuyet82 on
