Tourism today creates a variety of problems, such as pollution due to flights, traffic congestion and water pollution. Do you think that governments should impose extra taxes on flights or accommodation to restrict today's tourism industry?

One
of the widely discussed issues nowadays is the impact of
tourism
on the environment. It is undeniable that travelling and exploring new places become an essential part of our life.
However
, these days transport used by tourists causes outrageous amounts of damage,
such
as pollution. In order to combat
this
problem
government should impose additional taxes to limit today's
tourism
industry.
One
of the main aspects of the
problem
is that planes and trains emit huge amounts of carbon dioxide which is the main cause of global warming.
One
of the main reasons behind
that is
these types of transportation are popular in
this
modern era, any eco-friendly alternatives are not invented,
furthermore
, we can not use obsolete conveyance vehicles with zero harm to nature,
due to
the demands of the contemporary world.
This
could lead to a boost in the Greenhouse effect and destroy the ozone layer.
Moreover
, the common
problem
among tourist cities is pollution, often voyagers polluting sights and natural landscapes with plastics, paper or other variations of trash. To tackle
this
problem
government should add extra taxes to the
tourism
field and provide special places with surveillance cameras.
This
may be the easiest way to reduce the tremendous number of globetrotters, but because of the high cost of travelling many people will diminish the travelling number or even stop it. Having weighed everything mentioned , we can come to the conclusion that pollution is a significant
problem
and
one
of the greatest drawbacks of having
tourism
in the country. So, it would not be surprising to see some changes in the price of train or plane tickets and sightseeing in the near future. Actions must be taken urgently ,
