allocation for different purposes in six different continents and sub-continents in the world. As observed from the charts, there are two variations in the majority of

water

usage. Most of the developing regions preferred the resource for agricultural purposes,

while

the developed areas used the

water

for industrial aspects. Central Asia, Africa, and Southeast Asia have the highest percentage of

water

consumption for agriculture sectors, maintaining higher than 80

percent

supply for food production, but they have the largest proportion of domestic

water

consumption by almost 20%. The other continents are more developed like North America and Europe which consume around half of the supplies for industrial and manufacturing sectors

maintaining the demand for plantation and household which is

also

around 50% of total consumption.
