The bar graph compares some of the most valuable items exported by a country in two different years. The table shows the growth and the fall in the income of the export of these items in 2016 in comparison with 2015.
Overall
, what stands out from both graphs is that the earnings in 2016 slightly increased in four out of five categories. On the whole, it can be seen that petroleum products were the most profitable section,
while
textiles were the least. Looking at the details of the graph, a similar pattern is visible in both years. Engineered goods were approximately as successful as petroleum products, gaining around 60 billion dollars in both years. Gems and jewellery’s success were only two-thirds of the items mentioned. As for textiles, the only noticeable change can be seen there. Increasing from 25 billion to above 30 billion dollars in a year. If we look at the table, it is obvious that every single item saw a rise in terms of value, except for gems and jewellery, which saw a moderate 5.18% jump.
Although
textiles were the least favourite item to export, the most improvement is related to them with a 15.24% rise. Another interesting point to mention is agriculture products’ income which only grew 0.81%.
