It is true that there has been a rise in the number of people taking a yearlong break after completing school and before joining university. The main advantage of this trend is that it gives sufficient time for a teenager to learn new skills and the main drawback is that this can also be wastage of time if it is not planned carefully.

Some argue that money is the primary factor behind happiness in life. It is believed because people can enjoy a luxurious lifestyle with any financial stress when they have abundant money. One of the other key factors that make people happy is their social circle of friends and family.

It is believed that a number of individuals in a lot of countries earn an obscene amount of money. A few people are in support, claiming that it favours the nation however, others want the authorities to cap the achievable income at a set limit. Whilst I understand that making a lot of cash is good for the economy because it encourages healthy competition amongst businesses, I do think that limiting how much salary these people make is a step in the right direction, given that it gives too much power to the most influential citizens.

World hunger has been a major problem since mankind began. Many reasons has been attributed as the cause of this issue and over the years, solutions has been sought. Despite the numerous technological revolutions in agriculture all through the centuries, the world has still conquered starvation. In my opinion, hunger still persists because of wars in certain areas and also because the rich have not taken the poor seriously.

The Modern world is moving more towards innovation, development and the job market prefer people with higher education. However, the same system also enforces student to pursue only one path irrespective of their interests, which results in dissatisfaction with the work, lower productivity and increase in stress among individuals.

While some believe that the internet has been bringing masses close together, others think that individuals and communities are getting lonely. Whilst a discussion of both views is worthwhile, I am a strong supporter of the latter statement.
