Pocket money has always been a huge matter of concern for both the parents and children. There is a school thought that says giving weekly pocket money to children intends to make them self-sufficient for the long term. This essay will discuss why I consider pocket money as imperative for children including reasons that it makes them independent and develops finance management and savings skills.

A child’s mind is like a piece of clay that can be moulded into any desirable form. Leisure time is a great opportunity for children to acquire useful skills and to entertain themselves. Perhaps due to this, some parents are encouraging organised activities for children while others believe in letting their children occupy themselves in their own way. I feel that children’s participation in team building activities would keep them fruitfully engaged. It will also prepare them for handling multiple endeavours in the future.

Nowadays, some countries have introduced anti-tobacco laws in order to prevent health issues among their citizens, while others completely ignore that problem because they think that it is a personal choice and no governmental regulation in this area is required. Personally, I believe that tobacco users should be banned from smoking at work or in other public facilities as it is harmful to others’ health.

While there are many who support the idea of building confidence in children with team building tasks in their spare time, some opine that they should learn to engage themselves when they are alone. This is an ongoing debatable topic. I am of the opinion that a child who socialises better will learn faster than being on their own most of the time.

The major problem all countries around the world is to reduce the rate of criminal activities. The duty of controlling crime and take criminal into custody is of police. They are responsible to enforce law and order in the society. Some people argue that increasing the number of police officer in street would reduce rate of crime significantly. I partially agree with the given argument.

On the one hand, those who advocate that working from home is useful for the workers and families feel that it gives them the flexibility to work as per their convenience. This is because when they are not going to the job they need not follow the usual office hours. As a result, they choose to work at a time when their productivity is the highest. Furthermore, by not going to office, they save travelling time which can be utilized to work on their assignments and finish them early so that they can spend more time with their family members.

Pollution levels have been increasing at alarming rates during recent years. This common issue can be attributed to the large increase of privately owned vehicles in the cities. This essay will discuss how car pooling and increasing usage of public transport by the people can actually help in resolving the pollution problem.

I, personally, consider that it is extremely significant for countries to invest in outer space studies to progress further.

Television has affected our life considerably since its invention. It has created two opposite schools of thought on the ground of its serviceability. Although ordinary people in some case are cause of pollution about environment destruction, the governments and huge institutions are responsible, too. In my opinion, the second group have more effect on environment and they should step in and modify their behavior to improve situation.

With children and teenagers spending a lot of time in academic studies, making way for physical activities and picking a sport may get too taxing. The curriculum in schools should have such arrangements to make the subject of physical education and blending in some sports mandatory. Considering the physical health issues like obesity and mental well-being associated with video games and mobile phones these days along with dietary habits, incorporating games and exercise in the curriculum is certainly a good way to breed a healthy generation.

After the revolution of transportation systems, overseas travel has become popular among people all over the world. As a result, international travelers over time increased dramatically. Unfortunately, although local inhabitants visit the historical building which is located in their city, transnational visitors are more than residents. I believe the improvement in vehicles is why this reality happened and local broadcast has a potential impact to encourage locals to visit their history.

Many governments set arbitrary retirement age (such as sixty-five), but some people are physically worn out or mentally exhausted well before they reach this age. While some people believe the set age is reasonable, others think it should be more flexible with exemptions for certain workers. In my opinion, fixed retirement age is best for everybody because it is the easiest and fairest arrangement, but I think a tribunal could be established to decide whether individual workers deserve to receive a pension at an earlier age.

When discussing the advatages associated with living abroad, in order to gain better language skills, one should bear in mind the complexity of the issue. Although some people think it is not efficient to leave abroad, due to the financial costs, others believe it is vital in order to fully absorb the culture and society of the country. In my opinion, staying in a foreign place gives a substantially deeper insight to the country's language and culture, and should be done when possible. In this essay, I will give reasons and explenations to my argument.
