Many people say that cooking and eating at home is better for individuals and the family than eating out in restaurants or canteens. Do you agree or disagree?

Throughout the last fifty years, the number and the variety of places serving meals has been dramatically increasing in most cities of the world. Therefore, it is debated whether domestic or restaurant food should be preferred. Whilst I broadly agree that home cooking is better than dining out, I have a number of reservations about this.

Being wealthy is considered a necessity for most individuals. However, it is often argued that, the main reason why people seek to be financially buoyant, is because it affords them the chance to impact the lifes of others. The prisons were created way back in the ancient time in order to punish people who committed crime. The majority of the people believe that, individuals who are committed minor crimes such as thieves and blackmailing etc. should be punished in term of community work on unpaid basis. I am partly agree on the condition unpaid work because, even though criminals have families and they need sort of some money to survive.

We have been living during the period when people are perhaps more image conscious than ever before due to social media and the influence of airbrushing in daily life and in the workplace. In my opinion, the work performance is necessary but it is not plays an important in workplace.

Heritage is the most treasured element of any society yet these ancient monuments are not visited by local people. The absence of local footfalls on such sites is because of the lack of curiosity to visit these places. It is correctly said that due to modernisation everywhere, some families do not want children. However, there are some people who demand that not wanting children is surrounded by some selfish reasons. But other people view that may be due to overpopulation and freedom oriented, couples do not want children. This essay will discuss both the opinions. Moreover, I support the second opinion.

It is certain that the use of fresh water can bifurcate people based on their opposing views. While some people think that water usage should be infinite, I think some restrictions on the consumption can help countries save for the upcoming problems from global warming.

In recent years, owning a car has become very essential. Many individuals are of the view that there are more downsides to a car than upsides. Testing new medicines on animals is increasingly becoming popular these days. Although, it is the belief of some people that a clinical trial should be conducted on animals while others see it as unnecessary and dangerous. This essay will discuss why conducting a clinical trial may be harmful to them, but why at the same time, it is ultimately superior.

We have witnessed many incidents relating to children due to the inadequate or inappropriate ways of raising a child of parents. To a certain degree, I believe that taking part in classes of parenting and child development would be a reasonable solution; however, I would argue that there are other alternatives to take in order to raise children.

It is controversial issue that whether consumers are tricked by different forms of advertisement into buying goods unreasonably or that advertisement helps them make informed decisions to buy what they want. To some extent I agree that advertising has an impact on sales, but I would also agree that we do need most of the goods that we buy.

In the last few years, many new ideas and beliefs arose aiming to improve society and reinforce the relationship between members of a society. One of the proposed ideas, yet under observation, is to make it compulsory for high school students to do some programmes, of course, charity ones, to assist their community.

Nowadays people tend to have different opinions regarding a use of petrol car. While some insist on continuation of them, I personally agree and argue with those who support ban on these cars as it is a non-renewable energy resource and we should restrict its usage.
