The first car appeared on British roads in 1888. By the year 2000 there may be as many as 29 million vehicles on British roads. Alternative forms of transport should be encouraged and international laws introduced to control car ownership and use. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Car invention is one of the most inventions that has captured the holistic attention throughout the ages. Since the first car appeared in 1888 and till 2000, the drastic increase in the number of them is significant. Many people think that finding new alternative means of transportation is a necessity, moreover, new legislations should be applied to the control of the possession and usage of cars. This essay will elaborate in depth this topic, and will show why I agree strongly with this direction.

Government investment in the arts, such as music and theatre, is a waste of money. Government must invest this money in public services instead. Do what extent do you agree with this statement?

The way of investment, whether in public aspects or arts aspects is debatable. Whereas many people think that the governments should spend more money in the arts, others believe that public services are the top priority to expend. This essay will demonstrate why the investment in public services is ultimately superior.

Increasing the price of fuel is the best way to solve the growing traffic and pollution problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree? What other measures do you think might be effective?

In the present scenario, the price hike of the petroleum products is considered as a solution to reduce the carbon footprint. Though this might be a challenge for people, it cleanses our air to a greater extend.

There are various ways to go about our lives. Some have preferences toward an organized life by following a fixed routine, whereas others pursue a life with more variations. I am in favour of a stable life; however, it can be monotonous. This life can be improved with some changes.

Children can learn effectively by watching television. Therefore they should be encouraged to watch television regularly at home and at school. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

In the 21st century, it is believed that children can learn in different and alternative ways, including watching television, and that this should be encouraged by parents and teachers. I believe this is a topic that needs to be better discussed and in my vision, I do not agree with that statement.

Some people believe that money is the best gift for teenagers while others disagree. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

The aptness of giving cash as a present to young people has always been the controversial issue for years. Some people claim that having funds as the gift is the relatively practical for adolescents, while others oppose with this assertion. The idea of both sides with my own opinion will be further discussed and elaborated in the following essay.

The news media have too much influence on people’s lives today and this is a negative development. To what extent, do you agree or disagree?

Just a few decades ago, the news media was operated only through radio and printed newspapers. However, it has now entered the daily lives of citizens through many modern devices such as phones, laptops. While it has an enormous impact on most people’s life, I partly agree that this is a mostly negative development, and I will mention the reason why in this essay.

If a product is good or it meets people will buy it. So, advertisement is unnecessary and no more than entertainment. To what extent do you agree or disagree.

Some individuals assume that an advertisement is not necessary anymore and it is just entertainment. But I do not agree with this thought. In the modern world, it is a very important tool to sell the products because these days, most people are exposed to commercials by tv, computer or phone. So, I believe that it is firmly necessary as the aspect of revenue. Hence In this essay, I am going to suggest about the reasons that the companies have to promote their products.

When the Supreme Court banned capital punishment for crimes that were committed when a defendant was under the age of 18, it ruled that “standards of decency” had evolved to recognize that a juvenile’s “lack of maturity and an underdeveloped sense of responsibility” distinguished his crimes from those of an adult.

The media should limit how much bad news they report because it discourages people from doing activities which usually involve very little risk. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, media are involved to show violence, crime and natural disaster. Although, restricting negative information on media can stop to demoralise people to do activities which are without risk, however, it can arise a huge panic for them.I believe that the mass media should inform people about what is happening in the world.

People have differing views on how to achieve happiness in their life. While some people put forth that it depends on themselves, others consider outer objects as a source of prosperity. I have discussed both the perspectives of bliss before coming to a conclusion.

Some universities offer online courses as an alternative to classes delivered on campus. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

The idea of providing distance education by numerous universities has become quite fashionable. Whilst I believe online courses have great benefits in severed cases, I presume that this trend may give rise to some downsides.

Others, however, argue that the circumstances of an individual crime, and the motivation for committing it, should always be taken into account when deciding on the punishment. discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Committing crime is simply disobeying the law in different sectors. There are two different views on how punishment should employ when a person commits a crime, fixed punishment for each type of crime and deciding on the consequences.

Smoking not only harms the smoker, but also those who are nearby. Therefore, smoking should be banned in public places. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.

Smokers who usually smoke in the public not only they are endangering themselves in fact, they are causing risks to the people beside them. This has been a norm for the people who smoke in public. I completely agree with this essay as people who smoke in public areas should be fined.

One of the typical matters of concern these days is the high expectation for children. It is argued that forcing them to put more efforts in studying while they are young is likely to benefit them later in life. In my opinion, I totally disagree with this view for following reasons.

There is a body of opinion which advocates that all youngsters should stay on at school until they are 18. I agree with this view, despite the arguments for leaving school at an earlier age.

The United Nations estimates that approximately 6,500 languages are spoken in the world today. By the end of this century, many linguists estimate that over half of those 6,500 languages will be gone. Some opine that it is futile to save these languages because it is more convenient to have fewer languages today. I agree with this view.

I definitely agree with the statement that the case rate of all over the countries has been reduced due to the advanced technology machines to compare the past times. There are major changes in the manner of public safety.
