Nowadays larger distance are travelled by people to work and study on a daily basis. Some consider it to be a negative development while others disagree. Discuss both views and give your own opinion

Is it bad to travel to distant places, interact with a wider range of people of different neighbouring towns and cities? If people earn a position or career opportunity in an institution which is a bit far from their homes, or if they opt to travel greater distances to learn better skills and in search of a better study or work environment, how can it be a negative development? In this essay, I will show you that travelling larger distances everyday by people to work and study has a significant positive effect on one's mental and career growth and knowledge and especially helps in achieving challenging goals.

It is argued by some people that money can be considered as the best present teenagers can be offered. However, others think that teenagers should be provided with gifts other than money, which have a greater value for them. In my opinion, I perceive that money should not be categorised as the best present for them and there are a number of things which are of vital importance that can be presented to teenagers.

People primarily enrol in a college or university to achieve the necessary training and degree they require to build a course. Apart from the career, people seek higher studies to gain knowledge, to enhance the social status and learn more about diverse cultures.

Since the 18th century technological advances have replaced people in the workplace. With today’s technology this process is happening at a greater rate. Technology is increasingly responsible for unemployment. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Technological advancement is a boon to any country, but this also results in people getting hard to get the jobs. Hence, they remain unemployed. No doubt technology has made work easier at many workplaces, for example, in factories, most of the work is done by the machines, so there are no more pains for labourers. But, in the other service industries like courier and telegram, email has a massive impact on these areas of work. Moreover, in most of the developed countries, robots and machines are used in various places to substitute humans, this has resulted in depreciation in employment rates. Hence, the state gains the tag of the highest unemployed rate, though it is doing economically well.

Music is always a healing therapy and many people have an opinion that it is way of increasing the bonding among those of different cultures and ages. Indeed, I agree with this viewpoint, because everybody in this world are connected to music regardless of age, taste and culture.

The educational aspects of the student's whole academic life are being widely discussed nowadays. While some individuals believe the teaching institutions should focus their courses on learning theoretical facts, others think that practical skills should be prioritized. Both men and women have started equating working in every nation, and hence it is natural that they should divide their household chores among themselves. I agree with this viewpoint as this way of life provides several advantages such as a stress-free life and courage to be independent.

It has argued that a significant number of individuals that children's success story is best possible through their parent’s way of taking care. Although, parents are the greatest helping hand for a child to show the right directions on a timely basis, I am of the opinion that other people like, friends are equally important in bringing the kids' achievements.

A person’s worth nowadays seems to be judged according to social status and material possessions. Old-fashioned values, such as honour, kindness and trust, no longer seem important. In the modern world the worst of an individual is evaluated basing on see status in society and material possessions. At the same time, how did it values, including owner, kindness and Trust seem to lose their past importance. From my point of view, even though status and wealth became predominant in judging one's worse, old-fashioned personal values have not lost their meaning yet.

Learning is a process to obtain knowledge at every age of one's life. Although people believe that engaging their children in structured peer activities in a liesure time would be beneficial for growth and development of the children. While on the other hand some people argue that it is significant for children to learn how to present yourself to others.

The number of paid holidays in one company can be different to other companies. The number of holidays of each employee depends on the policy given by their company. Many people argue that employers should give longer holidays to improve the productivity of each company, while others show a strong disapproval of such an intention. I strongly agree that employers should give more holiday, as a way to motivate them to do well in their respective job.

Owing to the rapidly growing trend of negative news being highlighted more often nowadays, it has been suggested that media ought to focus on presenting more of positive news in their broadcasting forms. In my opinion, I completely affirm with this notion as this will spread positivity as well as instill a sence of progression and security amongst the denizens.

When it comes to preserveing enviroment, there are divided opinions. Here few people raise voice that there should be complete car free days to reduce air pollution. I strongly agree with the view that the average person is likely to have declining health in the coming days. There are many reasons for this, especially the lack of time to lead a healthy life, stress at work or school affecting mental health, and the increased amount of screen time damaging vision. Moreover, this trend seems to worsen with every passing day.

It is quite common in job applying processes for companies to ask candidates about their personal information such as family relationship and what they do in their leisure time. While there are some people that believe these facts are import to the company to know, others believe requiring this information is unethical. This essay will present both points of view and then I will provide my own perspective on this matter.
