Nowadays, we can search for almost any info online by just a few clicks. This, however raise a question that whether printed books still have any place in modern society? Despite both have their own pros and cons, I’ll have to slightly disagree with this opinion.

Nowadays the obese has become the centre of health problems. The level of health and fitness is declining day to day due to increasing in the average weight of people. This essay will explain the lack of exercise and eating junk food are the causes of increasing in the average weight of humans and decline in the fitness of people in a few countries. It will also discuss the measures like walking and eating the vegetables should be taken to avoid these problems.

Nowadays, it has been observed that traffic congestion is a big problem all over the world. Either authorities should build the best network facility of public shipment over the road. A lion’s share of people favour in it, however rest go averse it. I agree with the central idea, the government should improve the public transport system. For some students staying on campus represent their lifestyle. It signifies who they are. Many people think that staying in college campus is superior to living with their parents.

According to the statistics, girls and boys make different choices about their studies. Females tend to prefer arts instead males choose scientific subjects. I think there are many reasons to explain this trend, to give an example still in many areas around the world some jobs, like an engineer or scientist are considered men's jobs. In my opinion is important understand reasons behind these choices. This trend should change if it doesn't represent the real interest of students. The most significant thing is encouraging boys and girls to study what they really like.

With the dawn of the 21st century, the living expenses and lifestyle have increased tremendously where more people are living the luxury lifestyle while some struggle to pay for daily expenses. Everyone has different problems such as unsatisfactory job, shortage of money and others. People are unsatisfied in their jobs because they expect more such as higher salary while wanting to work comfortably, following the pattern of 9 am-5 pm working hours. As living expenses have risen, some people that live in poverty do not have sufficient money to get through the day. Is it better for people to accept these bad situations or should they work harder to improve their situation? Let's find out!

According to some people in the modern life provides us with an overwhelming number of options. I completely agree with that point because I believe the era of the internet and globalization has given us an incredible amount of alternatives and this is both good and bad. On the one hand, it has made products available at cheap rates; on the other hand, it leads to impulse buying.

Politician's private lives should not be published in newspapers. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There have been numerous cases of revealing personal lives of politicians, which is considered illegal, to the public conciousness through newspapers. I agree that it violates the privacy of these individuals as much as others. However, I believe that exposing them can be sometimes necessary in case the security of the people would be at risk otherwise.

Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to increase recycling is for the governments to make it a legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste?

Waste recycling and people’s participation in it is a moot issue and a lot of arguments could be observed among people as well as in the media regarding whether people should spontaneously take part in recycling process or the government should make it a legal obligation. I personally believe that government should impose laws and severely fine the violation of it to ensure proper misuse recycling.

Governments should spend money on railways rather than roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

According to some people, the authorities should invest in trains instead of roadways. I do not quite agree with this view. In my opinion, the roads are as important as railways and hence the government should allocate appropriate funding for both.

Museums of different kinds, exhibiting objects of historical, cultural and scientific values have always enjoyed great significance in the society. However, most of these museums, in recent years, do not provide free access to the visitors. Although this change might lead to a negative consequence, such as a decline in the number of visitors, it definitely offers more benefits to the museum and the society. In my opinion, it is far better to charge an entry fee than allowing anyone and everyone inside for free.
