Rates of diabetes and obesity are increasing in many countries around the world. Some people think that the government should ban soft drinks and sugary snacks from schools. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this proposal?

The proposition to tax foods containing sugar is generally viable. However, the countries that might implement this tax must consider the negative impacts on their food based economy. While childhood obesity is indeed a grave issue, the cultural and economic repercussions of such a decision must be taken into account.

Some people believe that violent films are bad for you and encourage people to be violent. Others argue that violence and films are unrelated because violence existed before the films.

In today’s changing world the content of cinema is also changing rapidly. Movies based on different genre are made and are easily accessible to everyone. Few individuals believe that violent movies have a negative influence on people and encourage them to become violent while others believe that violence and movies are very different from one another. I completely disagree with the notion that films can encourage people to pursue violence because I think it is fallacious.

Although it is sometimes thought advertising is exceptionally persuasive for purchasing, other people believe it is sometimes thought it has become so pervasive that it hardly has an effect anymore. Personally, I support the former view because both new technologies and findings in psychology tend to make it the most effective way of promoting products.

Nowadays, with the development of the nations, personal cars are bought and used by a large number of individuals.In my opinion, I believe more cars cause more environmental pollution which is a major drawback, outweighing some minor benefits of having own cars.

While some people think that soft skills are not essential at work, other people believe that soft skills are significant for work. At the age of the globalization, younger generation seems to have lost an interest in the work as a teacher. As a result, the number of educational workers is decreasing year by year. This is mainly because of society opinion that it is not prestigious to be a schoolteacher. However, from my point of view, there are a number of solutions, which can be implemented to tackle this issue.

Hence, this essay will discuss two benefits and downsides of taking this gap year working as a volunteer.

Nowadays, it is seen in many countries like Britain, USA rather than staying with their families, old people are shifting to old age homes where doctors and nurses take care of them. This essay will discuss my opinion on how the families as well as the government should take care of the senior citizens.

It is believed that offspring should be motivated by their parents to attend social groups to do different activities in their spare time whereas another group of people think children should spend their time solo and keep themselves busy. I agree with social activities belief and I will talk about both views.

Science and technology have been growing exponentially in the recent years. Human beings have used new technologies such as mobile phones and laptops which has become the inevitable part of life. Older people are also not an exception to it and are forced to use the technology up to an extent and struggling with the use of these gadgets. The reasons of their struggle and possible solutions will be outlined in the following paragraphs.

It is considered by some that the children's basic principles of life should be taught by parents while some people think that the place to learn becoming good members of society should be learnt from school. In my opinion, parents are responsible for teaching these principles to their children at a young age, while the school focuses on teaching them educational skills.

First, I want to be debt-free 1 years from now. Every penny I earn should be plus in my balance. Then, I believe, I would be less stressed, I can think more clearly and make better decisions. Of course, again, after that, we can search for a place to live in other than Turkey. We can consider buying a house, a car, and having another child. We can focus on the works we want to do. We won't have to jump from project to project just to earn money. We can consider having a holiday, seeing the world etc.

Safety on roads is one of the biggest concerns in today's world. There are always accidents on the roads causing deaths of drivers and passengers. Sometimes, they are worst and death rate will be high. To avoid this, we must follow the road rules and governments should impose stricter punishments for driving offences. Some people argue that this is not a way to make it work, but I don't agree with them and I will explain why in this essay.

This essay will argue that advantages of mass production of cars which led to an easier life style doesn't outweigh the disadvantages for the environment.

Presently, people are opting more to live alone, which was not so often in the past. This is a positive development, as they get more privacy while living separately. The other positive note is, they become more self-dependent and confident.
