Computer technologies have developed at an unprecedented pace nowadays, and some argue that it is pointless to support / maintain public libraries because their functions are increasingly being fulfilled by computers. In my view, while using laptops can make research easier and more interesting, state libraries are worth investing in / worth the investment because of the important role they play in this modern world.

To tackle the problems of traffic congestion and the shortage of housing, it is suggested that large companies and factories in major cities should be relocated into the countryside. I think this policy can be effective to some extent, but it is difficult to implement, with possible objections and negative outcomes.

Of late, more and more customers are moving to large shopping centres and malls rather than the small local shops, and this has forced these shops to close. In my opinion, this is a negative development which can make people lose their jobs and also it may affect the tourism.

It is widely believed that culture and tourism add immensely to the gross domestic product (GDP) of any country's economy, hence the need for foreign visitors to pay more. While this might be true, I am certain that this would not be the best of decisions to take, as this step would have more negative effect on the volume of visitors coming in to experience and learn about other people's culture. This could also lead to the locals trivializing their own very culture and attractions.

The Internet is a wonderful tool that helps to keep in touch with friends and family wherever they are.
