in recent years many small shops have closed because customers travel to large shopping centers or malls to do their shopping. is this a positive or a negative development ?

Change is the only constant, as rightly said by someone moreover change is also necessary for the continuous growth and advancement of the human race, be it in the culture, society, ideologies or trends. The shopping, culture has also changed quite a bit in the recent years with people preferring to visit large malls and shopping centres over small local shops. This essay will discuss why this is a positive development.

Some people think it would be a good idea for schools to teach every young person how to be a good parent. Do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Describe the skills a person needs to be a good parent.

Every new generation is the building block of its future society; therefore, responsible parenting is an undisputed desirable behaviour. Being a good parent is predicated by building on ones personal experiences. Hence, despite the notion that parenting practices need to be included in school syllabuses, I conjecture that it would be more effective to deliver such education at a later stage of life: just before marriage.

A question concerning employment that many have to face is whether they should pursue their promising career at a major firm or a modest one. On one hand, I am inclined to believe that as an individual works for a company of large scale, he will be given favourable opportunities of advancement. On the other hand, hardly can we deny that it is more feasible to apply at smaller business establishments.

Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to increase recycling is for governments to make it a legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste?

It is noted that the residential wastes are not recycled considerably. Therefore, many intellectuals perceive that the local regime should modify the legislation to raise the awareness of the recycling in the society. I partially agree with the above notion which might motivate all the sections of the community towards recycling and environmental concerns.

Lately, the tax payers are wondering where their money goes and they believe that their money is not well invested. As a result, some argue that they should not pay any taxes to the government. I totally agree with this approach and I will explain the reasons why.

Each individual has a perspective of their own. While some are social and interactive in nature, others are more secluded and reluctant.
