In modern times, young adults are spending less time with their families and more time with their friends. Why has this change occured? Do you think parents should force their children to spend more time at home?

Nowadays, young people tend to spend more time with their friends than with their families. This change has taken place due to the smaller numbers of people living in each house these days and parents shouldn’t force their children to stay at home as this would not foster good relationships within the family.

Shopping is now one of the most popular forms of leisure activity in many countries for young adults. What do you think is the reason for this? Is this a positive or negative development?

Amongst other forms of recreational activity, shopping is recently the most common for the youths in many continents of the world and I think this is happening basically because of peer influence. This in turn is a negative development due to the fact that many youths are now extravagant in spending plus they now compete and engage in unacceptable activities such as stealing in order to meet up with this trend.

With availbity of various choices, purchasing a product has become more challenging for consumers. While some choose to buy indigenous manufacture goods, others are more tempted towards foreign imported. In my opinion, former brings many benefits since it is affordable and supports local businessman.

Owing to advancement in technology, many people are dependent on gadgets. Many notions that, use of smartphones has produced a detrimental impact on our intellectual level, as we are dependent on them, instead of our minds. I partially agree to this statement.

Some people believe that teenagers should be required to do unpaid community work in their free times. This can benefit teenagers and benefit the community as well. To what extend do you agree or disagree.

Nowadays, we see many people volunteering in the community work. It is believed that the people who are in their teenage should definitely work for their community, irrespective of the money they get in return. Such unpaid social work can help not only the volunteers to gain some practical knowledge, but also the community with the free resources they receive. This essays agrees completely with the proposal of making the teenagers to work without any salary for their community.

It is thought by some people that it is an individual responsibility to preserve the environment whereas others assert that it is the government’s major role. In my opinion, the government can effective preserve it since they have the power to impose strict rules and regulation against environmental degradation.

Most students study the courses which they like at universities in today's world. Some believe that they should learn the courses which they are comfortable. However, few say that only subjects, which help them in future should only be studied at college. In my opinion, papers which help students in future like the science and technology should be part of the curriculam.This essay will discuss both views and give a reasoned conclusion.

Air travel has become a widespread phenomenon among many as economical flights are providing flexible options to travellers. Conversely, some people argue that discounted flights should be banned as they are considered a threat to the environment. However, I feel such options improve opportunities for many individuals and industries for hassle-free travel.

A museum is an entity that preserves the artifacts of history and works as an important representative of a nation’s tradition and culture. Thus the importance of museums to convey the historical facts to the new generation is beyond controversy. However, there are scopes to discuss whether entry to a museum should be free or not. I personally believe that there should be no charge for the museum entry as charging people for that have more demerits.

Owing to the increasing trend of shopping online, it is argued by some that this will eventually result in stores in major cities and suburbs shutting down. In my opinion, I agree that online shopping will one day lead to the closing down of shops because of the convenience of buying from them and also the variety of options it provides.

Art has always played a vital role in enriching cultures all over the world. However, people are showing less and less interest in art these days. In this essay, I will analyse the reasons behind this trend and also suggest possible ways to boost people’s interest in arts.

It is often argued, that most of couples are paying an enourmous amout of money to cover the expenses of their wedding day. In my opinion, I believe that it is more advantageous to spend the money on either more valuable items or to save them, rather than spending all of the couple savings in one night.

Workers can be motivated to work by giving them longer breaks. I believe that although the high performance could be attained with adequate leave entitlement at work, yet it must be with certain limits. This essay will first discuss the policy of enough holidays are important to enhance job satisfaction and performance and then discuss why it important to maintain leaves within certain period.

Culture is the way of life of a particular set of people and it is believed by some that the most effective method of understanding other cultures is by working for an international organization. However, I completely disagree with this view because they are several other ways to get accustomed to other cultures which includes;learning from the internet and migration.

It is quite evident that nowadays the parents worry about their children regarding the physical punishment and an various rewards, which can improve the behaviour of children. So, both the aspects of improvement will be discussed in the forthcoming paragraphs, before commenting on my opinion.

It is a debated issue whether it is useful or disavantageous for the younger generation to partake in gainful employment. There are many pros and cons in allowing children engage in paid jobs. In my opinion, the drawbacks outweighs its benefits.

It is irrefutable that funding of the entertainment industry by the government is as crucial as investment in public services. I agree that these two serves different purposes and are beneficial to the citizens of society and require government funding.

Religion dates back to the beginning of mankind and has become a key part of its existence. Even though it is thought by many to be a positive thing, others think that it has brought negativity.
