Nowadays, Waste management is a burning issue around the globe. Some commentators say that governments should make strict laws to protect the environment and to increase in the ratio of recycling wastes from households. However, I partly agree laws are needed and in the same time, public awareness regarding benefits of recycling required which could bring phenomenal impact.

People’s life expectancy in the 21st century has been rising on an unprecedented scale. As a result, policymakers are now considering extending the working age for old people. Prolonged life is, on the one hand, a welcome change for many individuals, yet I believe this is completely not a good idea for old people to continue to work due to several reasons related to their deteriorated work performance and capability to adapt to new technologies.

The popularity of credit and debit cards has increased tremendously over the years. This is definitely a positive development because cards have eliminated the need to carry cash in our wallets. However, I don’t expect cards to replace paper currency in the near future.

Nowadays anyone with a decent credit score can get a credit card. Credit cards increase the purchasing power of people and improve their living standards. Unfortunately, if the cards are not used with care, they will land the holder in serious debts. In my opinion, credit cards have both advantages and disadvantages.

The present era is called the era of technology and computers are extensively used in all the sectors including education. With the increasing presence of computers and the Internet in education, many believe that the traditional teaching method will soon become obsolete and computer-based teaching method will become the mainstream education system. I personally believe that computer and technology without any doubt have accelerated the education system but they will never replace teachers and both computers and teachers have distinctive roles to play in education.

Nowadays, with different economic development growth, the gap between the rich countries and the poor countries are widening. Personally, I agree that wealthy nations should not only give aid but also make sure it gets used properly.
