Some people think that space exploration is a waste of resource while others think that it is essential for mankind to continue to explore the universe in which we live. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

Some people argue that exploring space involves too much investment and time, while others think it is required for survival of human existence. In this essay, I will discuss both views and express my opinion.

The government is spending a lot of money to discover life on other planets. Some people think that government is wasting money and should spend more money addressing the problems of the public. To what extent do you agree?

Vast amounts of money are invested by governments in attempts to discover extraterrestrial life. However, a number of people consider it useless and believe that more funding should be provided in order to tackle more vital issues instead. I am inclined to disagree with such an opinion, because space exploration may soon become not just useful, but critical.

Some people believe that the government should not spend money on international aid when they have their own disadvantaged people like homeless and unemployed. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Over the last 100 years, population has grown at an exponential rate across many countries in the world. This brings along with it its own problems such as poverty, illiteracy, unemployment and so on. Many governments allocate huge resources to tackle these problems. Since all governments have problems to solve in their own countries, I agree with the argument that their first priority should be their own people.

Some people think that the best way to reduce crime is to give longer prison sentences. Others, however, believe there are better alternative ways of reducing crime. Crime is a serious and growing problem in most societies. Although many people believe that the best way to tackle this is to place people in prison for longer periods, others are of the opinion that other measures will be more effective.

Some people think that government is wasting money on the arts and that this money should be spent elsewhere. To what extent do you agree/disagree?

It is important to consider how authorities spend her finances. Some individuals are of the opinion that investing money on arts by the government is a total waste and this money should ne channelled on other projects such as improving the hospitals and educational institutions. While ì agree with this opinion, I will also argue that the art sector should not be neglected because they equally contribute in improving people's quality of life.

Some people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is in order to travel or work in a foreign country. Others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Recently, it is more evident that many people are learning foreign languages. The most common ones are English, French, Chinese and Spanish. Some of the population is of the view that an individual should only learn a new language, if he or she has plans of travelling or working abroad while others beg to differ.

It is highly debated whether family or community has a greater impact on a child’s development. In my opinion, I strongly believe that community, including friends and superstars, nowadays have a much stronger influence on children compared to family, especially in the era of internet and social media.

To a certain extent I agree that, only governments and big firms will result huge difference on the environment. However, i believe that, people also play a significant role in improving its standards. And, i will state my reasons as follows.

It is argued by some that volunteering must be made mandatory in the education system. This essay completely agrees with the view that it ought to be indispensable if it is a part of the school curriculum. Firstly, this essay will discuss how it enhances the intellectual skills and secondly, analysis the importance of getting a job.

In many countries, a small number of people earn extremely high salaries. Some people believe that this is good for the country, but others think that governments should not allow salaries above a certain level. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

There are various opinions circulating the issue of imposing a maximum limit to one’s salary. While it may seem more sensible to impose a limit, there are many reasons justifying the act of not doing so. In my opinion, it is more appropriate to refrain from imposing a salary limit as it will not only decrease the happiness of the general population but also lower the standard of living in addition to marring the nation’s image.

Environmental damage can cause the extinction of some species due to the loss of their natural habitats and food sources. It is believed that government has the biggest power for taking the course of actions to save the environment. In this essay, I shall give some facts and opinions to support this statement.

People have different opinions as to whether nations should spend the national budget on hosting international sporting events. Personally, I believe that the events have beneficial impacts on a nation.

Although it is sometimes thought that animals ought to stay unexploited by humans, others believe that they should be used for numerous human purposes. In my opinion, I consider that animals’ safety is important and that is why people should not exploit them.

Some people think that one of the best ways to solve environmental problems is to increase the cost of fuels for cars and other vehicles. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Over the past decades, environmental issues have been increasingly recognized. Many solutions are proposed to tackle these problems, one of which is to increase the fuel cost for vehicles in order to cut off the exhaust fumes emitted into the surroundings when people are travelling. From my perspective, I totally disapprove of this idea.

It is true that several governments regard economic progress as the most critical achievement of a country. However, others believe that there are alternative aspects in the society that should be concerned. In my opinion, I support both claims as each has its own reasons.

Performance-based incentives and pay packets motivate employees to work harder. Many companies already employ this technique and have reaped huge benefits. Although this is a fair method of rewarding talent, it does have some negative aspects as well.

Over the past decades, environmental problem has never ceased to draw public attention and provoke debates. Although governments have been spending magnificence effort to tackle with it, the issue as to whether people should take almost responsibility for their local environment or not remain controversial. From my own perspective this approach would be very shortsighted view following the reason below.

Films and TV programmes today are filled with violence and as a result violence is increasing in our societies. I agree that censoring such programmes and films, some amount of violence can be decreased. In the following paragraphs, I shall put forth my arguments to support my views.

The number of cars on the roads is increasing every day. Traffic and transportation issues are a growing concern in every major city. Many people believe that in order to solve traffic and transportation woes people should be encouraged to live in cities rather than in the suburbs or countryside. I strongly disagree with this statement. In my opinion, there are several other ways to solve this issue.
