A poor infrastructure hinders under developed countries from progressing and modernizing. Some people think this should be the first problem tackled by foreign aid. To what extent do you agree?

Most developing countries fail to grow beyond a certain level because of the lack of adequate infrastructure. Hence, some people argue that foreign assistance should be primarily used to tackle this problems. I partly with agree with this idea. While I do admit that infrastructure is important, it is not the only factor determining the success of a nation.

Scientists and technology experts seem to be more valued by modern society than musicians and artists. To what extent do you agree?

While some people believe that science and technology professions could gain more respect, others argue that music and art has more value in today’s world. I absolutely agree that experts of science and technology fields are given more importance in present day society.

It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? What sort of punishment should parents and teachers be allowed to use to teach good behaviour to children?

Children often commit acts that are cruel or immoral but they do not always realize that what they have done is wrong or unacceptable. Some people argue that punishing children is the best way to make them realize the distinction between right and wrong. While I am not an advocate of harsh forms of punishment, in my opinion, some children certainly need some forms of punishment to learn to behave.

Nowadays it is common for people to get married and have children in their thirties rather than when they are younger. Do you agree or disagree that this trend will benefit society?

It is true that there has been a rise in the number of people who get married and have babies in their mid 30s and beyond. In my opinion, this is a beneficial practice because at this age most parents are financially stable and emotionally mature to raise their children properly and ensure a better future for them.

Some believe that education success is based on good teachers and others believe that it depends upon student’s attitude. Discuss both views and give your opinion with relevant example.

At present, it is sometimes believed that success in studing is based on superb teachers. However, there are those who consider that education success depends on someone’s attitude. From my point of view, successful education depends on a person. Firstly, this essay will discuss education success brought about by good teachers, and secondly, success in studing caused by individual’s attitude.

Being a celebrity such as a famous film star or sports personality brings problems as well as benefits. Do you think that being a celebrity brings more benefits or more problems?

Due to the advent of globalization, various societies around the world are beginning to have more number of similarities. However, some people are afraid that this will eventually result into a complete loss of cultural identity. I completely disagree with the statement as cultures are known to have flourished on account of exposure and it can also lead to better understanding of people in general if we are aware of their backgrounds, beliefs and various rituals.

It is believed that number of holidays should be provided in accordance with the job one works in. I completely agree with this view as this has positive affects as enumerated below.

Fatherhood ought to be emphasized as much as motherhood. The idea that women are solely responsible for deciding whether or not to have babies, leads to the idea that they are also responsible for bringing the children up. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, women empowerment is hotly debated in many circles. However as far family matters are concerned, with awareness and education, newly becoming mothers are fully aware of their rights about family planning as opposed to fathers. It is often argued that only mother is answerable to raise the kids due while father is spared from this duty, but opponents of this view have v convincing arguments that father should be involved in nurturing the kids along with mother. In my view, this father's involvement is mandatory for a better outcome of kids in future.

A lot of money is spent on repairing old buildings. Instead of repairing old buildings that money should be spent on knocking down old buildings and building new ones. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The topic on whether the older buildings should be preserved through doing the repair work or the new buildings with the latest design and technology should be build has always been debatable. There are valid arguments for both the sides, however in my view, the old buildings should be preserved as they carry the significant value in country’s historical importance.

During environmental disasters, rich countries certainly help rouge nation on humanitarian ground. This essay agrees with this statement because financially stable nation can accommodate all the portfolios and poor countries cannot afford to finance all the sectors.

People have different viewpoints about learning literature and history. Some believe that children are more critical to learn national literature and history than literature and history of other countries, while others think oppositely. In my opinion, I believe that the importance of literature and historical nation is slightly more important than literature and history of other countries the entire world.

Many countries in the world have access to free health services for their citizens. While some argue that health services should include the latest medical advancement, others demand primary health care to be free. I agree that irrespective of the latest medical treatment options in the world, each country should provide free health services to its citizens.

According to some people spending a lot of money on marriage parties is a must. Others insist that lavish celebrations are a waste of money and resources. Both views will be discussed in this essay; however, in my opinion, it does not make much sense to spend a lot of money on celebrations.

Celebrations make our lives more interesting. Also, lavish parties are an opportunity to show off our wealth. Actually, this is the reason many people choose to spend inordinate amounts of money on weddings. They believe that throwing a lavish wedding party will easily elevate their social standing. My uncle, for example, makes it a point to celebrate the weddings of his children in a lavish manner. He believes that those parties will earn him the respect of his friends and acquaintances.

In the 21st century, young people are motivated to be self-made people, that is, to become an entrepreneur. It is a famous believe that to run a business than to be an employee of the people of age 20 to 30 years old. This essay will describe the pros and cons of a youngster to be in the team of employees or, become the employer and determine, if running a business have more advantage or disadvantage.

Prevention is better than cure”. Researching and treating diseases is too costly, so it would be better to invest in preventative measures. To what extent do you agree?

A consensus that diseases have to be avoided rather than healing it because ailments are expensive, and therefore, it would be better to take precautionary measures. In my opinion, it is always understood that prevention helps in eradicating diseases.

It is comomly argured that computers are the most significant creation over the last century.I partly agree with this statement, although they are important in the history of innovations,i believe there are other discoveries that are as significant as the introduction of computers.

This is due to the fact that the role of a leader can determine the fate of a group. From my perspective, there are two major qualities required for a good boss: supportive leadership and perfect communication.
