Some people think that economic progress is the only way to measure a country’s success, while others think that there are other factors which can be used to measure a country’s success. What are these factors? Which, of all factors, do you think are most important?

It is argued that the recession is a single factor that help to observe a nation's prosperity. However, another group of people thought that several measures should be considered to evaluate the country's affluence. In my opinion, the economy plays an important role in the country's growth. But, other factors should be highly appreciated to observe the richness. This essay will firstly discuss about the significance of economy in terms of the province's success and followed by the factors to promote country's prosperity.

The selection of suitable parameters to determine the success of any country is usually a topic of discussion. Many people believe that the evaluation should be done primarily on the basis of economic growth of that nation. However, I agree with others who argue that besides the earlier mentioned point, other factors should also be considered.

Some people believe that unpaid community service should be a compulsory part of high school programmes (for example working for a charity, improving the neighborhood or teaching sports to younger children). To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some people claim that high school curriculum should include a mandatory community service, which would be provided by students for free. While the positive impacts are obvious of such programmes, there are people, including myself, who believe that community service is something students should choose to do and not be forced upon. In this essay I will discuss why, in my opinion, high school students’ service to communities is a great idea, although should not be compulsory.

Many people hold the view that the salary is extremely important while choosing a career, others opine that loving them a job is what matters. Personally, I think that it's better to pursue a desirable occupation. Considering that doing a desirable work is the key to realization, and that passion makes fulfilment.

The issue of the growing number of obesity in the world has become a matter of discussion for many. In my view, poor dietary choices, sedentary lifestyle and growing fast food culture are main the reasons to name the few. In this essay, I shall outline the main causes for this change and analyse the possible solutions.

The issue of environmental problems has become a matter of discussion for many. Some people argue that such global issues cannot be solved by an individual, while others disagree. Personally, I believe that it will require a cumulative effort from both public and government to mitigate this world-wide pandemic. In this essay, I shall examine both points of view and outline the solutions.

In the past, lectures were used as a way of teaching large numbers of students, but now with the development of technology for education, many people think there is no justification for attending lectures. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Modern technology is an indeed a blessing to the mankind. Moreover, technology facilitated human life in uncountable ways. Because of that, some short sighted people argue that students do not need to attend lectures physically. In my opinion, I strongly disagree with above notion.

Nowadays, it is undoubtedly that the use of privative transports has been increasing, mainly in the last century. There are many reasons for this problem and lots of possible resolutions for it. In my point of view, the government should invest in the transportation service instead of in others technologies.

Some people say that E-books and modern technology will totally replace traditional newspaper and magazines. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Our life is surrounded by numerous types of technological devices that some of them use are using to catch information. By emerging digital books and the websites of news and science, some people believe that technology will completely cause them to disappear print out books. I would agree that the number of printed books will decrease significantly in the future, but I do believe that paper-based books will never be replaced totally.

When some product draws our attention, usually our first reaction is to look up the price. It is automatic, we want to know if we can buy it or not. It applies to any product, from technology to health services, all of us give considerable importance to the price. Besides, if we can get the same product for a lower price, indeed we will. Therefore, I agree with people who think that the price is the most important thing.

It generates millions of dollars daily to our economy and brings joy to many although some people find advertising causing a negative impact on humankind. In this essay I will examine both of these views and will share my thoughts on why I believe that advertising lands more benefits into our livelihoods.

There is an argument that nowadays, the lifespan of humans lasts longer if being compared to the past, therefore the retirement age should be higher than it used to be. Personally, I totally agree with this statement because of the rationale following.

The majority of people consider that adolescents getting involved in part-time works during their off time as a positive growth, because it aids the students to be self sufficient. However, others oppose this as it may lead them to lose their interest in academics. Even though there are few demerits in this regard, I believe part-time jobs need to be uplifted as it not only aids them to be less dependant, but also makes them familiar with the real world.

Teaching method to pay attention, between workforce and academic achievement is debatable. Although I agree with the statement above that educational technique should take care of the development of the workforce, I believe academic success is also crucial and should be treated equally.

Nowadays, together with the development of many kinds of transportations such as train or air plane, travelling around the world is not only a dream. But some people also argue that this can be easily done by just sitting in front of the television. In my opinion, I prefer real experience by visiting many places instead of watching these well-organised programs on TV or via the internet.

It is considered by some that male politicians are responsible for aggression and constant tensions between countries whereas others think that if women were elevated into roles, we would have a more peaceful society. Personally, I am not agreeing with this viewpoint that only females can lead the team without any illegal activities. Indeed, many fear wars attended with painful consequences, have occurred under female leadership.
