Governments spend a lot of money on public celebrations such as national holidays and public festivals. Some people say that the government spends too much on this and that they should use this money on other useful things. Do you agree or disagree?

"These days One of the most spoken issues is whether government should avoid spending on public celebrations. Since I believe such activities are vital for a country’s customs and traditions, I disagree with this notion.

Some high schools have a requirement that students must complete a certain amount of volunteer work in order to graduate. What do you think about this type of requirement? Give details to support your opinion.

Schools from many countries have a rule that students have to accomplish a number of required volunteer activities if they want to graduate. From my standpoint, I think this kind of requirement is practical as there have many benefits for students from building up essential helpful skills such as communicate, teamwork and soft skills. Moreover, this also brings advantages to the local residents.

With the advent of technology such as the internet in the 20th century, it has opened up numerous horizons for research. The financial support for these upcoming developments is being done by the two major groups, namely, the public authorities or private organizations. Some of the critics assert that to proliferate the scientific analysis, the funding should be done by both private and public authorities, however, I strongly agree that to foster such delicate work the money should be provided by the governments only, because, these inventions in some way are connected with the security of mankind.

The number of obese children in the world is growing continuously over the past years. Some say that parents should be penalized, because they allow them to become overweight. I disagree with this notion for the reason that parents are not always on the side of their children to guide them on the right foods to eat and such condition is hereditary in nature.

Sedentary lifestyle and high levels of stress have given rise to myriad health issues. There are people who suggest that traditional medicines can solve many of these concerns and therefore we should go back to them. I completely agree with this view. In my opinion, traditional medicine holds the key to cure diseases that cannot be cured by modern medicine without any reactions.

Social media, newspapers, magazine, television news programs have recently become our common way to obtain knowledge, or entertain. Thus, a number of people are concerned that the main role of broadcasts is to amuse audiences. Nevertheless, I think that education and information are better to be the final purpose of TV news programs as this is the fastest and most popular way to absorb updated insight and, in fact, this is the source we can trust.

Nowadays, plenty of time is spent on exercising and doing sports by humans across the world. In my opinion, putting more effort in physical activities has many advantages. However, there are some negative impacts as a result of this trend.

After the second world war, the world was physically separated among various nations, because of phenomenon such as globalization in the 20th century, people started to migrate between the countries, consequently, it made the whole globe as one virtual nation. Since, communities left their homes in search of jobs and got settled in new countries and started to learn local dialects, whereas they are now forgetting their own mother tongue. Some critics assert that the primitive languages should not diminish from the society, while I completely agree that the number of languages used by the community should be reduced which will make life easier.

In my view, it's advantages outweigh the disadvantages; and in this essay, we will discuss it in detail using real-life examples to support arguments.
