The Old National Library Building was closed on 31 March 2004, and despite huge public dissent, the library was demolished in 2005 to make way for the construction of the Fort Canning Tunnel which was aimed to ease traffic flow to the city. However, others argue about these purported advantages. In my opinion, the reasons offered by URA to demolish the Old National Library are justified.

Solving worldwide ecosystem problems should be tackled by one group on a worldwide scale. In my personal opinion, I do not completely agree with this statement, because there are a bunch of steps that a huge of various institutions have to combine together in order to handle. The primary reason is that a specific company cannot be able to tackle the international issues separately. In fact, ecosystem troubles require more institutions to provide effective solution. In conclusion, it is evident that if we yearn for global environment more stable, it is not only a particular company's responsibility, but also many various institutions' mission.

It is often assumed that the world of today is a place with few dangerous threats in comparison to that of a century ago, and a great deal of money should be stopped investing in the improvement of their military powers. I reckon that the further progression of their armed forces can contribute to a much safer world in the future; hence, governments should not dwindle the amount of money spent on their armies.

to be honest I can't remember the time by mine someone was bothered because I was kind and calm. by the way one day I went on to big yard of my uncle's house in order to play football with my cousins. we were playing football when I realized that someone is coming and he is getting closer to us. he was my uncle with a red face which was fearful. as soon as arriving there, he yelled just at me and wanted us to leave that place and never come back.

These days it is much easier for many people to travel to different countries for tourism than in the past. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

The line graph compares datas of Australian teenagers' consumption of pizza, fish and chips and hamburgers in different years from 1988 to 1999. At the beginning, fish and chips took up the most part and the number of it is at least 10 times of the other two kinds of fast food. But after that, the number of fish and chips kept down totally while the numbers of pizza and hamburgers kept climbing. In 1999 the number of hamburgers was bigger than that of fish and chips. In 1000, the number of pizza increased above that of fish and chips. After 1000, hamburgers had been the most fast food that Austrlian teenagers consumned and pizza the second, fish and chips the last. It can be seen that in 1000, both the numbers of pizza and hamburgers were about two times of fish and chips.

I am here to inform you that yesterday I received a courier from your bank but the card was missing from that envelope. So I cannot acknowledge receipt for the same in reply to your mail. I am requesting you to address this situation on priority basis because from the date, card has been allotted to me is registered against my name and also account has been activated. In that case the yearly charge will be implemented from the date of account activation at my end either I use it or not. Kindly look into this matter and if possible cancel this card and allot me a new card as soon as possible.

The perspective about marriages has been changed a lot by the influence of media and TV programs. Therefore, many young individuals prefer to live together before even getting married which results in a better understanding of their partners. Personally, I believe that this type of arrangement would be a positive change for the involved parties as they will experience the real challenges and get to know their partners' preferences beforehand.

People usually come across bad news which as wars, famines and crime ,especially on social media. Recent research suggests that feeding bad news on main channels or on home pages can be detrimental. I think, most individuals are taken attention by interesting events or competition between opposite humans, therefore it catches their eye easily. At the same time, bad news should be shown as well as good news.

Nowadays, while, many people consider that older workers should retire at the age of 60 or 65, others argue that they should have the right to continue working for as long as they are willing. In my opinion, older generation should have the opportunity of working despite of its age, as it is quite useful in a workplace for various reasons which should be carefully consider.
