Child obesity is a growing concern on a global scale. Many believe that it is a government’s responsibility to fight this problem. Others believe that it is the parents’ duty to look after the health of their children. With whom do you agree? Why?

Obesity is increasingly becoming widespread among children, and a debate is continuing on how to prevent this problem. Many people think that governments should deal with the child obesity while others are in the opinion of the parents should take care of their children. I believe that only governments can protect new generations form obesity by introducing a training programme supported with some measures.

Today, the high sales of consumer goods reflect the power of advertising and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Advertising is a very powerful tool that is used by companies to attract consumers and make them buy various products. On the contrary, as this essay will demonstrate, this tool is sometimes so misleading that it can encourage people to purchase unnecessary items.

More and more people are choosing to work from home via computer. Companies are increasingly allowing their employees to do so. What might be some causes of this development? What are the benefits of doing this?

People are growingly opting for remote work or telecommuting while the number of corporations that let their employees work by staying at home is increasing. It seems that this increasing tendency is because of the need to cope with cost and stress as for both workers and businessmen. When discussing the advantages and disadvantages of having many toys for children to play, one should bear in mind the complexity of the issue. Some people think that having many toys is good, becuase it develops the tectile skills of the child. Others believe that having too many toys have grave environemtal consequences and should be prevented. In the following essay, I will provide arguments and examples to support my assumption.

In this day and age, international traveling has become increasingly popular. A lot of different types of transportation has been developed and more airlines offer low price air fare tickets. This has lead to increased traffic congestion in all major cities around the world. In this essay, we will discuss how car ownership has made the traffic terrible. Also, we will see some measures that the government could take to discourage the public from using private cars for their basic needs.

While there are people who think the eradication of poverty very much depends on the development in economy, others believe that it should be ceased due to deleterious effects on environment. In my opinion, economic growth is necessary to alleviate poverty and raise living standards, but the preservation of environment is also needed to be taken into account.

Poverty is one of the major problems that the world is facing today. To decrease it, economic development seems the only way. While others would argue that economic development is harmful to the nature and it needs to stop, I believe it should not in order to help the humanity.
