A government has a responsibility to its citizens to ensure their safety. Therefore, some people think that the government should increase spending on defense but spend less on social benefits. To what extent do you agree?

The primary role of the state is to protect its citizens from different types of threat. Therefore, some people argue that the law makers should direct majority of their funds for development of defence sector and cut down the spending on social welfare. I do not agree with this view. In my opinion, a country has to spend on both social welfare and military capabilities.

At the present time, the population of some countries includes a relatively large no. of young adults compared with the no. of older people. Do the advantages of this situation outweigh the disadvantages?

Many countries now have a large population of young adults. While some people think that it is advantageous to have more young generation people, others are of the opinion that there should be balance between population of both the generation. This shift towards technology offers several environmental and educational benefits, while the drawbacks relate to the sharp increase in “screen time” for students and the possibility that the devices will cause distractions in school.

It is considered by some children that learning a foreign language has had some inborn qualities which power of memorization and receptiveness can help learners developed skills such as reading,writing,listening as well as speaking.However,while i believe that school should not make students bound in order to learn a foreign language.

In recent years, it is much more common for people from different cultural background to marry. This can mostly be atributed to the increased migration of foreigners into major cities, which created a multicultural society, and increased the interaction between different people and cultures. Although there are many benefits in establishing a relationship with a person from a different culture, there are also some demerits. In the following essay, I will provide arguments and examples to support both views.

The perpetual criminal activities in some countries are extremely hard to handle nowadays. Some people advocate for more physical presense of police on the streets as a solution for this uncontrollable situation. Though it might address this problem to some extent, Injecting more police personal on to the public streets is simply not a viable solution, beause of it's cost. I believe that there are other measures like survilence and gun control which are more efficient approaches to eradicate crime from being infesting the society.

Advertisement plays an important role in gaining profits for many corporations, and there are several reasons can explain why advertising can have such strong influences on the society. However, for my point of view, the proliferation of ads will eventually bring more negative effects to people as well as to the environment.

It is true that governments are providing financial support for the continuous maintenance and restoration of historical buildings in famous cities. However, others believe that state budgets should be radically use for building homes and development of highways. In my point of view, governments must focus on both views.

It is common that major cities spend millions of dollars on the restoration of old buildings all over the world. Although, to some extent, I think that repairing old buildings is beneficial for improving the reputation of cities, I do agree that the majority of a government’s budget should be spent on building new houses and developing infrastructure.
