In recent years, family history research has been becoming more popular than it was. In my opinion, I would argue that this trend should be as a positive development.

Educational institutions must put extra efforts to educate their pupil about healthy habits and fitness. I completely agree with this statement. This essay will explain two fundamental activities that schools, who want their students to be healthier, can adopt and practice.

In Britain, when someone gets old they often go to live in a home with other old people where there are nurses to look after them. Sometimes the government has to pay for this care. Who do you think should pay for this care, the government or the family? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

In recent years, the number of people who live in nursing homes in England, Wales and Scotland has been increasing. Some people believe that the family should pay for the care of nursing homes. However, I argue that the government should take responsibility for the cost. The first reason is that some people are too old to pay for the care of other family members and the second reason is that some families cannot afford to pay for the care.

Some people think that you can never become fluent in a language unless you have spent time living or working in that country. To what extend do you agree?

Learning a new language from text books and applying grammar rules, which are the essence of learning any language, but not necessarily enough. Using the language with native speaker is what ensures language fluency. I strongly concur with the need of extensive period of the language use in context.

It is believed that the growth of police officers on every road is the most effective way resulting in the decrease of crime rates. While this may suit with many people, I believe that there are many other methods to reduce crime.

People have different views about the betterment of seeking advice from other individuals or from the Internet. While I agree that Internet provides us with a wide range of information in a fraction of time, I believe experts are the best option when it comes to matters of life and death.

The majority of schools devote most of the school day to academic classes, but also set aside time for physical education and other no academic classes. However, not everyone agrees with this way of dividing up the school day. While there are people who think that schools should only be about academics, others believe that physical education is also important, and I agree with this point of view.

A myriad of individuals deem that celebrities are worthy to be paid a huge amount of money, while other think that they are not well deserve all this money . I am convinced that there are priorities to be done, thus authorities should shift their priority to essential tasks rather than complimentary tasks such as entertainment jobs. This essay will investigate the both view and their causes.

Nowadays, there is an increase in the number of people travelling to different locations for leisure activities. Travelling facilitates to learn different culture and traditions of the location travelled. I too believe that travelling can benefit the traveller by visiting the location.

It is globally acclaimed that circumstances make one lawbreaker not the person himself. It is opined by many that rather imposing imprisonment to gentle convicts it is better that they should be deputed for some social work without wages. This essay completely concurs with the above notion and addresses the importance of pursuing such ideology and then the possible positive effects of such steps on such persons.

The number of people suffering from health problems caused by a modern lifestyle which cannot be treated with modern medicines. Some people believe that alternative medicine can help. Do you agree that alternative medicines are effective?

Long term problems do not have short term solutions. Change of lifestyle cannot happen in a jiffy and fast acting medicines made in laboratories are definitely not suggested to change the lifestyle. I am going to share my perception about the positive effects of alternative medicines in people’s life in the following essay.

Advancements in communication technology have made the entire world a global village where information travels from one corner to another in the blink of an eye. Due to this information symmetry and accessibility, the world is becoming increasingly similar. Some people argue that this is a negative development. While I do not quite consider this as totally negative, in my opinion, there is definitely a need to preserve diversity.

Due to the rapid development and expansion of supermarkets in some countries many small, local businesses are unable to compete. Some people think that the closure of local businesses will bring about the death of local communities.To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It’s true that the retail market penetration is better with supermarkets and they do not even allow the local shops to compete with them. I believe, in the near future, we will miss the traditional touch of local communities in our everyday commodities.

Undeniably, space explorations have revolutionised our world since last decades. As Yuri Gagarin stepped on the moon, humans’ lifestyles have changed far considerably. From my view, the benefits humans earned from this section can be greater than the minimal drawbacks.

Despite the fact that the matter of the recruitment has not caught the attention as frequently as other issues, it does not mean it is less vital. Some employers subscribe to a notion that formal qualifications are more crucial than personal qualities and experiences when they recruit new workers. As far as I am concerned, there are several reasons which lead to this pressing issue and in my opinion, this is a negative development.
