From the centuries, women have been confined to some social norms. One of which is being thin. This norm has been promoted by the media and show-biz for the past few decades without considering the harmful impact, it can cause. There are some steps that need to be taken to prevent it.

About 30 years ago, the lives of our parents and grandparents are very different now, at that time they still had no opportunity to contact the digital life like today. But I don’t think that the ideas of older people are no longer useful for the current generation. The elderly have valuable experiences that can be passed on and they are also helpful labour forces of society.

There is often argued that consumers purchase products due to their needs and advertisements are not necessary. I do not agree with the statement because the content and amount of advertisements that consumers exposed may affect their purchasing behaviour.

Nowadays, the international companies are increasingly expanding all around the world, which are generating a huge amount of job banks in the emerging countries. It is often argued that the actions of huge global companies are beneficial to countries with developing economies, while others believe that these companies have a negative effect. In my opinion, I believe that although multinationals have a few harmful impacts, overall they are benefiting the countries in which they do business.

It is argued by some people that punishments should be fixed for all times of crimes. Other people believe that situation of crimes and reasons behind undergoing such activities should be considered before giving punishment. In my opinion, all criminals should be punished as no reason can justify a crime.

While, many think that the Government should spend large sum of money in constructing new railway lines for running super fast trains between cities. I personally think that the capital should be spent on improving existing public commute. This essay will discuss this scenario, along with examples from Oxford university study and Time magazine survey to demonstrate the points and support the claims.
