In many countries, the rate of serious crime committed by teenagers has risen sharply in recent years, leading some to argue that young offenders should be punished as adults regardless of their age. I completely agree with this view, primarily because it would act as a stronger deterrent and ensure justice for victims.
Public libraries are often a subject of debate, some arguing that offering them for free is a waste of public funds, while others, including myself, believe they are essential and should be maintained at no cost to the public. In my view, free libraries provide crucial support to those who lack resources to access information otherwise.
A part of the community believes that the exterior and interior designs of buildings are more important, whereas some people are focused on the sole purpose of building it. In this essay, I will discuss both agreements and state my own opinion.
The rapid development of artificial intelligence has raised questions about whether highly advanced robots should be regarded as people rather than machines. While some argue that robots capable of thinking, learning and expressing emotions deserve human-like recognition, I believe they should remain distinct from humans because their behaviour is ultimately created through technology.
In many countries, a relatively small proportion of people earn exceptionally high salaries. While some argue that such substantial incomes benefit society and the national economy, others believe that governments should impose a maximum limit on individual earnings. This essay will examine both perspectives before arguing that, although excessive inequality can be problematic, governments should generally avoid setting an upper salary limit.
Creative freedom is essential for artists to produce original work and contribute to cultural development. While I believe artists should generally be allowed to express their ideas without unnecessary interference, I disagree that this freedom should be absolute, as certain forms of expression may cause serious harm to individuals or society.
In recent years, environmental degradation has escalated into a critical global concern requiring immediate intervention. While a segment of society argues that personal lifestyle adjustments are effective to combat ecological damage, I contend that state governments must take the primary responsibility due to their administrative capacity and legal authority.
It is often argued that pets should remain indoors at all times, while others believe that they should be allowed to spend time outside. Both perspectives have clear advantages; however, I believe that supervised outdoor access is the better option.
As the population of large cities continues to grow, providing sufficient housing has become a major challenge for governments. I strongly agree that constructing high-rise apartment buildings is the most effective solution because it makes efficient use of limited land while promoting sustainable urban development.
While it is argued by some people that students’ learning abilities are negatively affected by using modern technology in education, others believe that it can be highly beneficial for the learning process. This essay will discuss both sides of the argument and explain why I support the second view.
It is often argued that spending time with people whom we love is less crucial than being successful in a career. While some people agree with this idea, others believe this is not an acceptable approach. This essay will discuss both sides of the argument and explain why I support the second view.
Nowadays, many people argue that online education is more effective than traditional classroom learning. While online learning offers greater flexibility and accessibility, I largely disagree with this view because traditional education plays a more significant role in developing discipline, responsibility, and communication skills.
It is increasingly argued that household issues are a major cause of sickness. Some critics believe that public authorities should be focusing on the mitigation of environmental pollution and home problems to avoid illnesses and diseases. From my perspective, I firmly agree with the given statement.
Nowadays, choosing the right career decision is one of the most crucial things for young people. Some people believe that they should be free to choose the profession they want, while others argue that they should make a practical career decision based on future employment prospects. This essay will discuss both views before explaining why I think a balance between personal interest and realism is the best approach.
Nowadays, movies and computer games that contain violent content have become increasingly popular all over the world. Some people argue that such entertainment has a harmful impact on society and therefore it should be prohibited, while others believe that this is harmless and a great way to relax. This essay will discuss both views before explaining why these kinds of films should be regulated rather than banned.
Whether reading movie reviews before watching a film is beneficial remains a subject of debate. While some people believe reviews help audiences make informed choices and gain a deeper understanding of a film, others argue that they influence expectations and reduce the enjoyment of watching it. In my opinion, reviews are valuable as long as they provide balanced opinions without revealing important plot details.
Modern news media often give greater attention to crimes, disasters, political conflicts, and other emergencies than to positive developments. Many people believe that this tendency has harmful effects on both individuals and society. I largely agree with this view because excessive exposure to negative news can increase anxiety, create a distorted perception of reality, and weaken public trust in society.
The declining number of animals and plants has become a serious environmental issue in many countries. Human activities have significantly damaged natural ecosystems, putting countless species at risk of extinction. I believe that habitat destruction, pollution, climate change, and excessive exploitation of natural resources are the main causes of this problem, and it can be addressed through stronger environmental protection, sustainable development, and public awareness.
While some people argue that all university students should be free to choose any subject they wish to study, others think that students' choices should be restricted to fields that are likely to be useful in the future, particularly in science and technology. These subjects can improve graduates' employment prospects and contribute to economic development. However, I believe that students should ultimately be allowed to select disciplines that match their abilities and interests. This essay will discuss both views and explain why freedom of choice should remain the main priority.
