Some educational experts argue that children should do homework, while others believe that it brings more harm than benefit. In this essay, both views will be discussed before I give my own opinion. On the one hand, homework is considered useful for children’s academic progress. It allows students to review what they learned in school and practise it again at home. For example, doing math exercises after class can help students remember formulas better. Homework also teaches discipline and responsibility, because children need to manage their time and complete tasks by themselves.
