Whoever controls the media also controls opinions and attitudes of the people and there is little can be done to rectify this. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

Throughout the history there were several attempts to curb and censor articles in the press. Nowadays it is still a pressing problem and measures must be taken to tackle it. As far as I am concerned, controlling society's opinion is only partially attainable for those who are in charge of the media.

It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Punishing children physically in order to teach them what is right and what is wrong is considered a necessity by many people. Although this might sound reasonable, I strongly disagree because it creates fear and builds up negative attributes in their mindsets.

Some people feel that entertainers such as film stars, pop musicians or sports stars are paid too much money. Do you agree or disagree?

In today's society, it is often a debatable topic among the people that entertainers received a disproportionate amount of wealth against their services. In this essay, I will describe why they are paying much more money and then I will describe other occupations that should get more salaries.

Today, some of the major challenges workers face in Big cities is traffic congestion and accommodation issues. Some are of the suggestion that companies should migrate to rural settings along with their employees to mitigate such. However, I believe that there are other solutions to this.

These days, whether people should have friends who always have the same ideas has sparked a heated debate. While some people believe that it is better to have friends with similar viewpoints, I would argue that it is reasonable to have friends with different points of view.

In Britain, when someone gets old they often go to live in a home with other old people where there are nurses to look after them. Sometimes the government has to pay for this care. Who do you think should pay for this care, the government or the family?

Our senior people are our blessing because we reach out for them when wisdom is sought and to learn from their life experiences. While it appears that most of the civilized countries develop programs to protect and support them after they get older, the responsibility of securing funds allocated to finance these programs and ensure their sustainability remains debatable between the government and the families of these individuals. In my case, I am in favour of the opinion claiming that the government is the party accountable for allocating budgets for such initiatives for many reasons which are briefed below.

One of the traditional methods in which students can use to learn something is remembering. Although it is necessary, I believe that the learner needs to combine as many methods as they can in studying to get a higher score.

Vehicles have caused enormous pollution in the cities as of late. Few Individuals opine, that the higher officials should shoot up the prices of fuel for automobiles and other commercial vehicles in order to solve problems of the environment. I agree that representatives of the country should raise the cost of both petrol and diesel to cope the effect of environmental contamination.

Achieving success by innate talent or by hard work is debatable. Some people claim that intuitive talent is more important than hard work to become successful. I completely disagree with this statement, because dedication is required even if a person is talented and also by working hard a person stays more focused towards achieving his goal.

It is inevitable that as technology advances, traditional ways of life will be lost. Its seems that we cannot have these two things together. To what extent do you agree or disagree.

It is undeniable that modern technology has influenced people's life dramatically. Some people tend to think that a lot of traditional ways of life will disappear sooner or later because technology and tradition are incompatiable. However, I believe that this statement is incorrect since the technological progress conduces to transportations and spreading cultures which can actually benefit keeping traditional life.

The fast-paced development of the technologies made the urban areas to become more populated. Some people argue that this change increased the wealth of the city dwellers, whereas others disagree and assert that it is a negative evolution, exacerbating the life in a town. As far as I am concerned, the city life has a number of disadvantages, however they do not outweigh the benefits.

Nowadays, most of the buildings are being constructed without a proper supervision around the city. These days anyone can plan and construct a building with little experience. People are doing the planning and designing on their own. I believe, it has more negatives than benefits.

Doing an enjoyable activity with a child can develop better skills and more creativity than reading. To what extent do you agree?

The development of creativity and improving the skills in adults is debatable. Some people claim that a person can improve certain skills and can become creative by spending time with a child, however, others feel it can be achieved by reading a book. It is completely agreed that an enjoyable activity with a child can make an individual innovative and skilful. Analysing the enthusiasm in exploring new things and learning the concept of curiosity about various concepts in children will prove this.

Today, the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is believed that the high sales of trending goods among buyers are the result of powerful advertisement which is not an authentic demand of the market and society. I absolutely agree with this point of view and I think that the majority of the endorsement makes people to purchase for unnecessary items. However, some advertising gives people information about know how product.

The growing number of overweight people is putting strain on the healthcare system in an effort to deal with the health issues involved. Some people think that the best way to deal with this problem is to introduce more physical education lessons in the school curriculum. To what extent do you agree/disagree?

Nowadays a large number of people are getting obese. This is because of the modern lifestyle that we are following these days. Obesity leads to end number of diseases that is why it is very important to consult the health care specialist as early as possible, if you feel you have gained weight. I completely agree with the above statement by making physical education as a part of the school curriculum.

Some people believe that parents should promote their juvenile to participate in group activities, whereas on the contrary, others believe that children need to learn how to self occupancy. In my opinion, helping kids, keeping busy these days in this technological era is hard to tackle.

Nowadays, supermarkets are growing their sales very rapidly and the local businesses are getting impacted. Many people believe that this trend will lead to the closure of the local shops and businesses and hence harm local communities. However, I completely disagree with this view and think that local communities will be benefited with the advent of the supermarkets.

Wealthy countries are moving ahead in their economic aspects, however, the poor countries are economically lagging behind. Some people claim these rich nations must help the underprivileged nations in the form of food and education. I completely agree with this statement. Analysing equality of wealth among the nations, as well as maintaining friendly relations between these nations will prove this.

People have different views about how should we deal with adverse situations while accepting bad situations makes us stronger, I believe that due to the free will, we must make our efforts to address the problems.

Currently there is a trend towards the use of alternative forms of medicine. However, at the best these methods are ineffective, and at worst they may be dangerous. To what extent do you agree with this statement?

Although there are various medicines to cure an unhealthy patient, the attraction towards the alternate form of tablets has been increased in the modern days. As these types of drugs are deleterious to our health, and sometimes not effective, we must start to avoid them. Not only side effects is the problem of using these drugs, but also some doesn't work as prescribed; however, I would agree with the above statements and we will ponder the negatives of using these pharmaceuticals in this passage.
