Write about the following topic: People attend colleges or universities for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge etc.). Why do you think people attend colleges or universities? You should give reasons for your answer using your own ideas and experience.

At present, it is sometimes thought that people attend higher education owing to many different reasons, such as new experiences, increased knowledge, career preparation, etc. In my opinion, I think that people ought to be encouraged to attend universities as it will greatly benefit both individuals and society.

More and more people are becoming seriously overweight. Some people say that raising the price of fast foods will solve the problems. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

The problem of an increasing number of people suffering from obesity is of concern for the government and citizens. Some suggest increasing the price of fattening foods in order to address the problem. As for me, I believe there are other methods that can do a better job.

Owing to the hazards caused by the increased use of automobiles in the metropolis, it has been suggested by some that private cars should be prohibited from plying the cities. In my opinion, I agree that vehicles should be banned as its continued use causes environmental pollution and also road accidents.

An increasing number of people these days prefer to live in solitary or with intimates instead of staying with their parents and families. In my opinion, this increasing trend can cause some dire problems, such as tension between parents and children and even it could elevate the drug usage in teenagers. This essay is going to illustrate some of the negative consequences this drift could bring to society.

It is argued by some that all high school students must be allowed to study whatever interests them. Although studying the subjects they like can enhance their overall performance in the finals, I believe learning important subjects is more important for obtaining a job.

The salaries of sports professionals are much higher than those of people in other professions. Some believe that this is the right approach, whereas others consider this to be unjustifiable. Maintaining health is debatable nowadays all over the world. Some individuals believe exercise is the inevitable to keep good health. Others, however, support proper diet for it. In the following paragraphs, I shall discuss both arguments. In my opinion, I personally believe, exercise and diet are needed to be healthy.

Different countries practice various economic systems in the world. While some countries like the United States has always been supportive of investors and rich people, others, such as China believe in socialism and strict control of the economy and people's income. Some individuals believe raising the minimum legal age for driving cars or riding motorbikes is the most effective method for enhancing road safety. While I accept that this policy is good to some extent, I believe it is not the best because there are much better to reduce traffic accidents.

For many years, medical research has used animals to test treatments, cures and vaccines. It has been argued by many people that this animal experimentation should be banned. Although animal testing has some drawbacks, I am of the opinion that medical research on animals must continue.
