People have different views about which type of sports is better for them to participate in. While there are certain benefits of playing team sports, I would argue that taking part in individual sports is a better option.

Maintaining health is debatable nowadays all over the world. Some individuals believe exercise is the inevitable to keep good health. Others, however, support proper diet for it. In the following paragraphs, I shall discuss both arguments. In my opinion, I personally believe, exercise and diet are needed to be healthy.

Different countries practice various economic systems in the world. While some countries like the United States has always been supportive of investors and rich people, others, such as China believe in socialism and strict control of the economy and people's income. I do believe each of these systems has its pros and cons, but I think governments should define some rules and regulations to harness the incomes.

Some people believe that studying history is of no benefit in the current era in which we live in. I totally disagree with the statement above that learning about the past has no value because the achievements made by humankind are only possible because people always learnt from their past.

Some individuals believe raising the minimum legal age for driving cars or riding motorbikes is the most effective method for enhancing road safety. While I accept that this policy is good to some extent, I believe it is not the best because there are much better to reduce traffic accidents.

For many years, medical research has used animals to test treatments, cures and vaccines. It has been argued by many people that this animal experimentation should be banned. Although animal testing has some drawbacks, I am of the opinion that medical research on animals must continue.

If you sell a product and people buy it, then advertising it is not necessary and considered as a kind of entertainment. Do you agree or disagree?

Marketing and advertising have always been an integral part of the sales process. However, many people believe that advertising is pointless if the product is already selling well. I do not agree with this viewpoint as advertisements offer many other benefits to the manufacturers.

As everything in life is like a coin that has different sides people must weigh the pros and cons before jumping to conclusions. However, some may think that reading materials are the best source of knowledge, in my humble opinion, the kills obtained from experience are more beneficial for the following reasons.

It is felt by a number of people that entertainers, such as film stars, pop musicians or sports stars are paid a lot of money. In my opinion, it is fair to reward the entertainers with high remuneration.

It is no-doubt true that the inventions of electronic devices have affected our everyday lives so much throughout history. While this might harm people’s physical health to some extent, I believe that the advantages do outweigh the disadvantages.

It is true that some people believe that museums and art galleries should focus on local history and art rather than international works. While I accept that this may suit many people, I believe that we should not ignore the importance of other countries’ art and history.

These days, donating money to the needy is a humanitarian activity that has been embraced by individuals around the world. While some people deem that donors should do charity straight to the local community, my conviction is that it would be better to support the national or international charitable foundations.

History has an important role to play in the knowledge acquisition process of children. While I agree that learning local history is important, I also contend that world history should not be overlooked because of the benefits it brings to children.

The demand for household goods is growing considerably in recent years. While this trend can be positive to some extent, I would argue that it is more negative.

The only way to improve road safety is to give much stricter punishments on driving offenses. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

People have different views on how to improve road safety. While I accept that implementing harsher punishments can help solve this situation, I strongly disagree that this is the only measure because there are alternative ways which are effective and need taking into account.
