Question: Write a letter to a company asking for a refund for something you bought from them online. Write a letter to the Customer Service department. In your letter: Describe the item you bought Outline what the problem is Explain why you want a refund Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows: Dear Sir or Madam,
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to request a refund for a hair curler that I recently purchased on your website.
Interestingly enough, the pink hair curler that I purchased seemed to be a top-of-the-line product as it was on the "Hot Merchandise" section and was
also
supposed to enhance the user's natural highlights.
To my surprise, the item was not only dysfunctional but also
came in a rather tacky box, which I was definitely not expecting considering the amount of money that I paid for it. The major problem is with its on and off buttons, which need to be pressed with effort in order to make it work. Additionally
, the item starts overheating after only a few minutes of having been turned on.
I deserve a refund because I blindly trusted your company, which drove me to buy the hair curler. As far as I am concerned, there is a refund policy on your website's terms and conditions, which I expect you to fulfil. I can return the product and its shipping box as soon as you let me know which address to send it to.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
